Any 2nd Gen guys out there, hauling a full size (33-35), in their spare under carriage?
I've seen one article about it. He had 35s on 20", and removed the guiding brackets. I'm running 33s on 20". I think I can w/o any mods.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has tried this! It'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than a "Tire Gate".
    Thanks!

I think you can unless you have bigger/extended shackles...but I think I read you have a block back there so you "should" be ok... Hopefully someone with more experience can help ya:) :bump:

The block is gone now. Just replaced them w/ Icon's 1.5" replacement pack leafs.
I crawled under there and measured her up. Looks like I may have 1" give on either side.
Was just wandering if anyone else has tried it. Thanks for that info though. Good to know about the shackles.

I have coach builder +3" and a full size 275/65r20 (34.1") spare with no issues. However I did hve to grind and cold chisel the rivets out of the brackets for the factory spare to allow this.
