What all was involved? Was it just changing bulbs or more than that?

You just have to remove old bulbs and install the new LED bulbs. For the taillights you have to take them off to get to the bulbs.

Great post! I want to do the interior on my 2021, but all the light fixtures look different from my 2017. That and VLEDS, HR don't even have accurate drop-downs for 2021 so you have to spoof it, makes me hesitant. Your 2020 fixtures are identical and the dude in that video seems chill AF, I will probably go this route.

My only concern is, I was looking at 5500K and thinking that was perfect, think there's much difference to the 6000K?

I don't think there would that much of a difference between 5500K and 6000K. I am really liking the 6000K. I feel like its the right brightness and not to blue.

You are definitely going to like them! Nice a bright and easy install. Use the tape method to remove the old bulbs but make sure the bulbs are not hot when you try to put the tape on. Let me know if you have any questions.

key fob issues only come into play when replacing the cargo lights. Plus, the lights from both Vleds and HR are supposed to avoid this issue.
I have the 5500 interior lights from Vleds- they are awesome.

Just curious.... I have HR lights. What’s this key fob issue y’all speak of?

It’s only present in 19-21 tundras I believe. Some LED cargo lights interfere with the transponder for the keyfob light and unlocking. HR lights are made to resolve this issue for those years.

VLEDS are cheaper for the interior kit, but I posted the HR link above.

Ordered the precision kit yesterday. The headlightrevolution website is really not made well and confusing. Also the precision kit is way cheaper

I’ve had this kit for a long time and most of my cabin lights no longer work - vanity still works. Reverse lights still work. Looked nice and bright at first. Would I get them again? Hell frickin NO! I’ve gotten so used to sitting in the dark, thankfully this thread reminded me to buy the stock bulbs.
