Hey all, I recently got an '04 Tundra Access Cab and recently installed new aftermarkets headlights, taillights, and blinker housings, because they were either heavily oxidized or broken. After doing this, I noticed that when the ignition is turned off, the lights go off when the switched is still switched on, and the warning chime alerting me that the light switch is on doesn't sound when the door is opened. As a result, my battery died because the headlight switch was on, which I guess was drawing battery power, but the headlights weren't on outside, so I didn't know they were still left on. The lights also came with new sockets and bulbs which I figured I should note. However, the new blinker housings came with different style sockets and bulbs, which were different than the oem ones. I think this chime worked before the lights were changed, so could it lie with the aftermarket sockets or something? Should I try swapping the stock blinker sockets and old bulbs in? Does anyone have any ideas of what I could try Thanks!
