    It's a very minor thing but I try to keep my glove box well organized. Dealership is telling me that the Tundras don't come with the "leather" owner's manual pouch/cover anymore. Not sure if they are just pulling my leg or if this is true.

    Anyone know?

    I'm not sure if mine is leather or plastic, but it definitely came with a pouch/cover.

    Looks like they are $8 at the dealer parts counter but I’m still hoping the dealership I just purchased my TRD Pro from will cough up the $8 piece of fake leather and red string....

    My 2021 trd sport didn't come with it either. So everytime I push the gas I hear the manuals hit the glove box lid and when I brake they hit the back of the box. ‍♂️

    My 2019 came wit one, placed it all in a ziplock bag, stuffed under the rear seat near the jack. Wanted more glovebox space!!

    I have a 2020, don't think the factory provides one but this particular dealer throws in an el cheapo vinyl (shatters in sub zero temps) as a standard and I got them to do a nicer black canvas style (same as I got from them on my Taco back in '09). Not gonna break the bank but something that should be included given the value of the overall purchase. Here's a pic of the Canadian part # for the better canvas style:

    when the dealer puts in an allocation in dealer daily for a toyota vehicle, they have to select the "DK" option code for the leather pouch. it does not show up on the toyota website as an optional accessory or in the brochures. most dealers will not check the box as it usually a sunk cost on the dealer since they usually dont pass that cost down. the cost mentioned above for $8 is about a dollar increase from previous decade. you can find them on ebay for about 20-40 depending on the size of the pouch since each vehicle gets a different dimension for the pouch.

    Maybe lowly SR5s get plastic, but my 2017 SR5 is plastic. It appears nice like leather, but it's really plastic.

    Ahhh.. I'm going to see if mine can go there. I already have a shovel, booster, cables etc there. I believe mine is plastic or vinyl, I'll check later.

    The glove box doesn't fit anything with the giant manual AND cover. :thumbsup:

    What he said - it's not provided by default, but some dealers will provide the factory one, and other dealers will have a local place make cheap vinyl ones with dealer info plastered on them, and others don't bother at all.

    If you want one, you can find the official one here (I bought one because I also keep my other service info like tire receipt, most recent alignment, etc., all in there).

    my 2020 pro came with one.. I have not used it since the manuals are on my IPAD.. FWIW, I think out of all the new vehicles one could buy, this truck barely needs a manual, let alone a case.. On the other hand, my wife's 2020 ford expedition should have a continuing education class. LOL
