    Lots of shenanigans.
Don't know if this was already mentioned on this thread or not, but what're peoples experience/ reviews on the Napier truck bed tent? I live in the Southeast and my girlfriend and I plan on doing some camping trips next year. We are both use to ground tent camping so this will be an improvement. We'd like to eventually graduate to a rooftop tent, but want to test the water before committing to such a large purchase. Any input would be great!

we have one of those Napier tents. It’s pretty good. Holds up well in wind and rain too. Sets up pretty easy. Only drawback with it is you have to unload everything in the bed to set up.

I’m still using my original 80L Bozeman-made Dana Design Arcflex Alpine. Bought it used in college 20 years ago. Great pack. But I have thought about trading it in for a new Mystery ranch.

Beautiful dogs. My neighbor is a new Tundras owner and hunts his Draht in South Dakota and Montana often. I keep telling him to join the forum.

Spent a lot of time growing up in a ground tent, going to give a RTT a try now.

    More to Come ...

You will love the RTT. Not much faster close up but set up is quick. Better to be in there when you wake up with a bunch of Crocs outside your tent in that recent video.

    Great looking rig too!

Anyone run a rhino racks awning without having a rhino racks crossbar to attach it to? I’m looking for a no drill solution to attach an awning.

That’s the question. The only no drill options I have found are from voodoo but man they are pricey. All of the rhino racks offerings require drilling. I know they can be attached to just about any roof rack or crossbar set I was wondering on other ways people have attached them besides buying the rhino racks kits .

Gotya. My awning is drilled, plated and bolted to my camper and has a custom support bracket. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Don’t want it bending under the weight of a rain storm or coming off in a gust of wind. But it’s also attached to my camper and not my truck. I wouldn’t wanna drill in my truck either. Hopefully somebody has some good info for ya!

Question for the folks with RTT... which one do you have? Do you recommend it? Are you able to keep it on your truck everyday (daily driver questions) and lastly how much did you spend (if you’re ok with disclosing that)

I bought a 23 Zero Weekender on a Black Friday sale in 2019 and I’m head over heels for this thing. I leave it on the truck full time and had to put new straps on that cinch easier and don’t wear (flap) on the cover as much as the ones that came with the tent.
I’ve used it 6-8 times so far and I’m really happy with the RTT experience.

What weather has it gone through so far? Never heard of them before but looking on the website they seem very nice and affordable! Lot's of the YouTubers use RTT that range upwards of 3k (which is too much for a weekend overlander, IMO).
Do you have pics of it on your rig?

Idk if they still offer the weekender, but it is/was the entry level no frills budget tent. The breezeway is my favorite from 23Zero for sure.

so far I have camped in the dead of summer in Texas, the beginning of fall in Colorado, and the beginning of winter in Arkansas. So I’ve seen 100 degree temps, and down to the 20s. The tent has lots of ventilation for hot days, but I didn’t buy the insulated liner for cold temps so it offers little protection. The summer trip was also driving rain and wind, and I stayed dry.

    She looks incredible!

Yeah, I meant weekend overlander as in I only plan on using the RTT during the weekends so I can't justify a 3-4k RTT purchase. I am still weighing the pros and cons of a RTT. Some people have complained about the RTT shifting when used as a daily driver. What bed rack are you running?

The name of my tent is “The Weekender”

I haven’t had any movement or shifting issues and I’ve put at least 10k on the truck with the tent on. It’s a @Caliraisedled mid rise bed rack

Haha, yeah I figured that there was. Nice! How do you like Caliraised bed racks? I was looking at their rock sliders since they have the most affordable rock sliders (including shipping)
