I know that many have installed the console wireless phone charger or have taken advantage of the simple mod. I found this one on YouTube (available on Amazon) for almost half the cost. I have been searching for a passenger option since the fight is on when the other half joins me.

I have reached out to the maker to see if they make a bracket for the passenger side and I would be done for one of these units.

I actually found that installing a usb plug for my wife to use when in the vehicle was more helpful.
She was not happy with not being able to use her phone and have it not charge simultaneously.

Although it was funny when I laid her iPhone 8+ down on the console charger and it started charging.
She had no idea it was capable of wireless charging...:D

Looks nifty but my experience with those ball mounts is that they tend to loosen and need frequent re-tightening until they finally crack and fail.

    This^^^

I like everything about it other than the ball. There are big players in the mount game that use a ball mount/wireless cradle ( only difference is they don’t have the tundra specific mount attached ) and they fail over time. Some sooner than others. I know this because I worked for a retailer for many years and dealt with this on a weekly ( seemed daily ) basis. I personally would like to have the cradle adhere either vhb or magnetic. Flush with the dash. For me I don’t need the wireless charging because of Apple CarPlay. I do understand the desire though. Pretty slick device though.
    This is just my .02

I have been using a magnetic type mount on the passenger side that is 3m tape that part of the vehicle. It requires you to stick a piece of metal on the phone for it to attach. I had to warn the wife not to put her phone in the wireless console charger for fear of activating the metal detection system.

I just found this and thought if they had a passenger side bracket.

I agree with all the comments. A magnetic mount would be better than the plastic squeezy type. Worth a try, good video, good concept way better than Toyota's STILL wired options in the 2021 .... they need to get with the times!

Ok, the problem is that most magnetic holders require you to put a metal sheet on the back of phone rendering the wireless charger in center console useless. But it doesn’t make sense to use the center console charger if you want Apple CarPlay. So what is a mounting solution that allows to use wired Apple card play when you want but also throw your phone in center console charger when you want

I ran into same issues. I tried this, thought it was big and ugly but it’s smaller than expected and SUPER sturdy. OTTIE is the brand. I got the non powered version.

As for the Proholder mount, it flat out sucks and has to be modified. It shakes like hell and you couldn't even look at the screen. I emailed the company with no response and their website does not exist. I ended up cutting the ball mount and nut completely off and mounting the main body directly to the dash mounting clip. Its solid as hell now. Its a shame that I had to hack up a $70 mount.
