I had to freaking mow today, are you kidding me.
I know some of you are in a blizzard right now and I feel your pain but I just cant believe I had to mow today.

Then of course before that I had to prep the mowers, great there went $100 and that was not including blades, LOL insanity...

Yard does look great tho so there is that LOL

off to get a beer now...

I had to mow the back yard today. I usually mow the backyard about 3 times before the front needs to be mowed. The back of our house faces south so it starts getting the sunlight and warms up faster.

I haven't mowed in 5 years. I'm not sure they have mowers at Lowes where I live. We have snow from October to JuNE and then mud until august.

I don't miss the prelims to mowing...dreading it, changing clothes for it, purchasing gas for it, tuning up the mower, nor the fight that happens with my kids when I ask them to do it so I don't have to.

What I do miss happens after mowing...
watching the grime come off in the extremely hot shower, the relaxed feeling when I go to lay down on the couch to watch baseball, and that almost icy beer that I had in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Damn, I might drive down to Denver and mow someone's lawn!!

I actually enjoy the work LOL putting on old shorts and shoes with my boonie hat and sunglasses. No kids though so...jury's still out on that one and will be for a few years LOL

But agreed 100% on the post now ritual! Except I prefer a freezing cold shower....take one every night anyways. (Yep even in winter) LOL

I'm at 7800 ft. and need to weed eat the hillside, no mower here. There should be snow on it still. But no, it's been in the 70's. Not one big snow all winter, biggest storm was just over a foot. There's still time for a spring dumping!
