Thanks bro. Yeah the story behind how I got mine is crazy. I'll have to post it sometime.

So here's a funny thing.. I'm not married YET and I showed my girl the amp research steps with a little reverse psychology.

"I love them but they are just too much. You and my mom could really benefit when getting in. But I know there are some other things. Getting in and out shouldn't be an issue. Etc"

Shes like no you should get them.

That's the diff between a gf and a wife.

Wife would say damn right were not getting those. We have new curtains and shit to get.

    Lol

With time you'll come to realize that you aren't really putting anything over her... she's letting you do it and she's the one using psychology.

I wont deny this.. BUT she can use whatever she wants while I am getting in my truck with AMP research sides and my retrofit done

She can reverse me all she wants

Hey az1441 BA Truck Amigo! I bought the ReadyLift 2" SST for my 2015 TRD Pro, just got it & haven't installed it yet. How do you like your 4" thus far? I was thinking of adding 2 CB Shims to my 2" to give me approx. 3" (would that work)? I currently have a Pro Crap Level on front (what a F***ING mistake I am far from a mechanic in my defense) giving me approx. 2-2.5"...not enough...hence my CBS idea...it's that or send it back and get the 4"...seems to be the only lift I can find for our Pro's that retains the Bilsteins, Springs etc...

I love the lift. It's solid. No issues whatsoever for me.

My advice is if you want to retain those components and you want 5-6 inch if lift just get the 4"

MGM....I love it, but man, the Cement is my favorite. I kind of impulse bought my Tundra. Drove a blue 2006 Tacoma Sport for 11 years and was ready to get a new Tacoma. I pulled into the dealer and the Tundra was sitting there.....and yes, it called out my name. One test drive and it was parked in my driveway that night.

Yeah, I'm in the process of it now. I plasti dipped the bumpers ends but I'm going to redo them with something more permanent...TBD.

I used spray bed liner for the running boards. Tomorrow I'm going to debadge and remove the decals. Going to paint badges replace the decals with flat black. Window tint Monday....and I'm looking at the color matched AVS window visors.

    I'll probably start a thread.....definitely on a budget.

I love how you did your retrofit! The cement color looks great. Do you have any other pics of them installed? What type of shroud did you go with as well? I really like the look the 4in lift with 35s gives. It seems like the perfect height and still fits in a garage. Very nice truck.

    Thanks man.

I am still waiting on my RGB LEDs to finish the retrofit. Once they are in I will mount on the truck. I got some matsu ballasts with Osram CBIs

    Shrouds are Panamera switchbacks

    Should be dope.

Yeah the height I was very pleased with. Definitely looks dope with the new shoes.

    THX for lookin

Thank you for sharing! I'll probably be stealing some of your ideas for my QS build lol. So you are putting the LED DRL strip on the bottom of the headlights? How's the wiring work for that when its not stock like the platinums or 1794?
Also, did you paint the TOYOTA letters in the middle of your TRD Pro grill Cement? I'm looking at paint matching mine when I get it in. Any advice for painting it?

Wait I cant help you if you are stealing my ideas..hahaha But if you are quicksand I can make an exception..lol

    J/K broseph.. anytime

I am putting an RGB strip on the bottom and I will wire it into the parking light with positaps.

I did NOT paint those letters. i left them stock.

My advice on a quicksand (this is my opinion) is color match the grill the same quicksand color, make the bumper valance quicksand, and make the letters BLACK

would be sickening.. thats just me

Lol that would look pretty badass. But I think the quicksand just needs as much black on it to balance it out. That and I wouldn't want to copy you on everything lol. Just my opinion however. I do want everything either QS or black throughout the truck tho.
While I'm stealing all your ideas. Info on those taillights????

Nice trucks! Question about that supercharged tundra. I am curious for someone who has a supercharged tundra for what seems like a couple of years how has the reliability been with it? I called the dealer today about pricing on a supercharger install and I am looking to put the Magnuson on mine. Any info or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

    I can tell you this..

I work from home. I dont put many miles on these vehicles at all..

I have prolly put 5K on the SC total and when I had my 30K service on it last week the guys said it looks brand new and the filter looks impeccable.

I have seen no issues with it at all. Its a Toyota TRD one

I have the TRD one. I think my coupler needs to be replaced (warrantied) had one Toyota mechanic look at it. He advised the noise is completely normal. I got a second opinion at another reputable dealer. The guy who does SC installs said it may be a bit noiser than normal. (11k on it now)

Provided proof of purchase and proof of Toyota install per Toyota request.

Taking it back next Friday for them to compare to one of their techs SC (2wd) Tundra.

If found abnormal they'll send it to Magunson to warranty out.
