I tried searching for this but got impatient so i will just ask you all.

I'm taking her in for airbag recall work tomorrow morning and remember reading posts about the stealership messing up something on the dash when doing this job.

Anything I should be aware of or concerned about?
I'm thinking about taking some pics before just in case.

Had mine replaced without issue. Took a few hours, so I just sat around the dealership doing nothing. They did their complimentary "1000 point safety check" or whatever it's called, and found all the issues I was aware of on a 18 year old truck. Struts, CV shafts, and a mystery power steering leak that isn't happening. Friend said the dealer told him the same thing about his Tundra as well.
I'm just tired of getting the postcards in the mail still, especially since it has been done already.
Did you schedule this appointment already, or are you just rolling in? The service advisor told me Toyota won't let them keep airbags in stock like Honda has, so they need to look up your VIN and order one it. Took about 5 days to get it in.

I know my trucks front end was shot when I took it in in 2017 for shocks and the 4wheel place couldn’t get the cams bolts off for proper alignment. I told them to button it back up and let me reconsider. I waited a year and saved. Obviously, I searched here before committing as I thought maybe the shop was b’sing. Ended up all my LCA bushings were shot (they were squeaky). Better to buy new and replace.

My swaybar was just hanging there for probably 3 years as the links were busted. Truck drove like a boat.

Your other stuff I have no experience as they’ve not been problematic.

That's the way I expected it to go when I took mine for airbags in October.

I scheduled, they ordered, parts came in, I dropped off the truck.

When I came to pick it up, the guy could not find the slip, or the keys. Spoke to me in one word statements. When he found the keys after a few minutes he said "here", handed them to me and walked away.

My name's not Karen so I walked away bewildered and chuckled. Kinda disappointed I didn't get the million point inspection sales pitch. I was in uniform too, which doesn't entitle me to shit, but usually people are pretty nice.

I guess my truck is too old make me a good customer!

The bluetooth mic for my stereo was MIA after the recall. Looks like they pulled the radio and fell behind there. I had it stuck just to the left of the radio.
