Did you go with grey on shifter gate? If its black, the one i got today is much...darker. maybe its your flash.

I gotta say, I do like the shape and look of that shifter. It fits in well with the other AJT designs you have.

    Nice pickup.

That is a good looking shifter.
I went with the long V2 though.
This new one doesn’t seem quite long enough.(that’s what she said)

Another trick to clean up the chrome on the shifter is to use a little piece of heat-shrink tubing.

This design really seems to fit the look of the Tundra, more so than the first AJT option, IMO. I've seen several posts of AJT products and really like the options to add color and make subtle changes. Nice job on the install.

Pro tip. When installing the cup holder and shifter delete. Use a chisel on the plastic welds. Then drill. Then use thin punch in each drilled area to pop it off. Avoid drama with a screw driver.

Turned out good. Definitely should be a factory option. Had some minor fitments issues but super minor. When I drilled the shifter delete. I did it with new ajt part in place. This way its squared up and where I want it. Install screw. Loosely. Adjust and do the next.

Vent rings will wait until Toyota decides what to do about the wavy dash.

Wish I had some jam nuts.... but the TRD kind of fits too.

    EAD.

I really like the way all the AJT stuff blends with '18 and up, very seamless and clean! Very easy to create and carry a color theme thoughout the truck (and keep from being blinded by strategically placed chrome). Thanks for the feedback!

    Works great..
I used it on my setup with my AJT stuff and black TRD knob..

    n8chbajh_zpsbestx0li_57d0dbc6dc0c18dad059c32ae7ef536aee4c9621.jpg dh6nc8v6_zpseu3zve2d_ff16145a95b4fac7c07e7745afa11641450b35d5.jpg corwv1ob_zpsdajt4wcz_462bed37e2173f955c03f2c98065b25c25891bd3.jpg

    One more thing;
I first bought the steering wheel emblem cover on Etsy.
It was textured and I thought I'd like it.
Had to add my own tape to it.
It sucked, the texture would grab lint from cleaning, dust from the air, and I could always see the chrome underneath no matter how I taped it.

I then bought AJT's steering wheel emblem cover and it looks like @netranger6 pic.
AJT taped it entirely on the inside, one nice big piece of tape.
It attached totally and securely to the emblem.
I think AJT's cover even has a slight curve to it the Esty cover didn't have.
I disconnected the battery and actually zip tied it to the steering wheel for a few hours when I installed it.
Still looks great, still covers the chrome entirely just like the pic.

Looks great! TRD shifter is much better than the standard SR5, yours blends well with AJT stuff. I forgot to do the climate control rings when I did the knobs, really like they way it looks (going on the list too)!

I ordered my shifter gate, cup holder, and shifter trim during the Black Friday sale. Hopefully it arrives today!

I held off on the A/C knobs and trim for the time being, although I do like the way they look. I'm just a bit intimidated about taking apart the dash on my brand new truck!

I did them on my truck. I was also concerned about tearing it all apart, but it was extremely easy. Just follow the directions. Main thing is making sure you keep the knobs in the proper position when they’re apart. His videos are clear and informative. I’m not very mechanically inclined and had no issues.

That's how I felt when I first got my truck but I ordered the full knob set during the BF sale. The videos shows that most of it are just clips that easily pops off. Gonna do it all in 1 go so that I won't have to touch the dash again.

how do you like your tufskiz? did you permanently attach them? are they really foamy like the website says? i keep thinking I'll get em and then change my mind. a lot of coin for something like that. I mainly just want something to take up the space so I can just take out the inserts to clean instead of having to clean the trim itself.

I am on the fence about climate control and radio knobs....pretty much all I have left to purchase from AJT. I might go ahead and do that over the Christmas break

The climate and 4x4 knobs are much easier than it appears.

Give yourself a little time, remove the units as directed and take them inside on a table or bench.
All the videos showing instructions are very easy to follow and well laid out.

The radio knobs are as simple as pulling the old ones off and pushing the new ones on.

Climate control rings and nobs aren’t too difficult, and I’m a total noob when it comes to car stuff. They look great in my opinion, just takes a little bit of time, patience, and following instructions.

Love my AJT setup. The new shift handle is nice but I’m going to stick with mine for now.

I ended up spray painting my standard shift knob with some SEM Trim Black. I already had it from painting the cup holder surround, shift surround and gate. If your interested in seeing how it all turned out I can upload a pic. The reason I got rid of all the chrome was from being blinded by it when the sun hit it just right...

Did anyone have an issue with hot/cold knob being off after reinstall? If I turn my heat all the way to the right, the Max A/C and recirculation kicks on.

Does anyone know how to recalibrate the white gears/cogs? I must have bumped them when removing and installing the knobs.

I think there is a video on the AJT website that shows where the cogs are from the back side when the knob is straight up and down.

I just did the AJT chrome delete. Carefully followed the videos on the climate control knobs and still somehow got all three knobs out of synch. I have to turn my fan on medium and it blows on hi, etc. Anyone find any videos on this or have any ideas? I don’t even know where to start at this point. Thanks.
