Any Black Friday Head Unit Deals?!

Car audio hasn't historically been a big black Friday sales category and probably even less so this year will all the inventory issues.

 

Best Buy was doing $100 off the Pioneer W4660NEX but that's all I've found... my 4200 just died so I've been looking for a replacement too

 

Check crutchfield heard the added headunits on the sale list this year. What is it that your looking for? Lots of options

Checkout the kenwood dmx907s, dropped $100. I was looking at if before I bought the dmx957xr.

 

DMX907s is $399 at Best Buy

 

That’s a pretty good deal. Not easy to get wireless CarPlay sub-400 (not sure if that matters to you)

And if you use android these HU are pretty cool because with the mirroring feature your HU effectively becomes your phone. So if you’re watching YouTube (not while driving) you can high speed scrub back and fourth to rewatch sections or FF to what you want to see in the video. Super slick. Too bad it doesn’t work with iPhone but someday.

That's the 9707s at Bestbuy, not the 907s (kenwood is confusing). The 907s has HD radio, 5v preout, another year of warranty, and a capacitive touch screen. But if non of that matters to you the 9707s at BB is a good deal at $400.

 

good point, I was looking at the 9707s... I bought the $400 deal plus $45 for their 4 year extended warranty, I'm just using the stock JBL amp so 4v preouts are fine

I just bought the Kenwood DMX-9707s from Best Buy for $399

Nobody around me has it in stock so they’re shipping it. Maybe I’ll stick qualify for the free install?? Who knows yet!

 

I snagged a Sony XAV-AX7000 open box from crutchfield at $100 off for $438. The new stock is $100 off as well. Awesome clean looking high power head unit.

 

Amazon has the 907s for $450. That’s $200 off what I’ve seen if for weeks before.

I’m looking at replacing the stock head unit. What size do I need to be looking at to keep it flush with the dash?

 

if this is what you mean by flush then any normal double din will work. This screen is 6.95” i believe.

 

Yep, exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve seen some that are “floating” that I’m not a big fan of, too distracting in my opinion.
