Oh, I know. It's at the Obstacle park. I remember trying to get up that going the opposite direction but that was when I had my stock bumper. I'm going to try it again next time I'm there.

Thanks! I was out of the scene for awhile and now diving back in. I got the ARB front and rear lockers along with the 5.29 Nitro gears put in a few months ago and lovin it - torque feels like it was when I first bought the truck. Trails where I struggled in the past are now a piece of cake. Finally got the chance to run the Deer Valley trail - that was really fun.

You must've did a long time ago cuz your pic had lots of dirt around it. I'm actually going to Hollister on Tuesday to test some things out.

No, the one with my pic was a different spot. It was at the smaller play area up the hill. Damn, I'd come join you if my truck wasn't currently 2wd.

Oh hell yeah! What kind of app is that with the inclinometer? And what else does it do?

That's the ARB Linx controller. It controls my air compressor, it also has an air pressure sensor that I use to air down and air up all 4 tires at the same time, it controls my front and rear lockers, it has 6 optional switches - which I use to power on/off a contactor that acts as my kill switch for the winch, and also use it to control my additional lights. When I get an ARB fridge it can control the temp. It has built in features like the inclinometer (pitch & roll), speed (via GPS), and elevation.

That's hilarious! There were some unmarked trails that I went on today, had to use lockers.

Yeah me and Warren went off the trail once. It was pretty sketchy. Kept getting narrower and narrower with nowhere to turn around. And lots of pinstripes. Most of the unmarked trails are not meant for Tundras. Lol

They have opened phase 1, street legal vehicles only. Went out there a couple weeks ago, sand is super soft since no vehicles have been on it in such a long time. As long as everyone follows the rules, they should open it up to off road vehicles and some camping soon.

The sand is indeed super soft. I was out there last Sunday and got stuck a few times. Whatever you do, do not stop! The surrounding campgrounds are open, which I prefer because they’re protected from the sandblasting. The NB campground was packed early with Thanksgiving campers.

But really, what we called it far better represents the actual happenings down south:
