What do you keep in your truck and how do you use the storage compartments and spaces? Lists, pics, etc.

99.9% of what I carry goes in the bed... I carry very little in the cab with me.

Right now the only thing I store in my bed, is the bed liner.. On the interior not much other than some napkins in the center console, a couple oil rags, 2 screwdrivers and Channellocks in the compartment under the rear seat.

The go tread recovery board looks interesting, is that one or two of them? I like how it folds up and stows away easier. I also see a common complaint on the other flat type boards that you melt off nubs super easy. This solution looks better because it’s flexible and moves into the rut not putting so much force in one spot on the traction pad.

It comes with 2. I need to throw the other one in the truck. I took it out after the beach and forgot to put it back. They work well at levelling the truck out too. I've yet to actually need them.

Is there an aftermarket up grade for these trucks like the ESP locking long box for the 2.5 gens?

Reg cab so no real space inside the Cab but the usual crap there anyway including god only knows what that I have forgotten is in there?

In back there is Strut lining the Side walls about 9" off the deck and on the left side a 3 drawer PackRat storage unit bolted in and on the right side an Adrian Steel locking box over the Wheel Well with a 16" deep 6' long plywood top that tools and organizers sit.
There is plenty of bedspace as I moved the 2 drawer RV storage slider out to stick in the newer Tundra.

The Swiss Top has Windoors and I can reach almost anywhere in the bed from them which is handy too!

I have worked out of this setup for the last 10 years probably and it has been my favorite tool for a long time but now I have a newer Tundra that I have been moving into too.

I am thinking of mounting this in there now as I got it cheap and it is pretty useful if I am keeping the truck.

The box is on a Bed Slide so the entire thing can slide in and out if installed correctly.

Not the best pics, it gets dark early here at the North Pole this time of year.

Pics 1 and 2. How it looks all stowed. You can see the trauma kit, shovel and ice scraper. The black box has winter specific gear in it and lives in the truck Nov - April.

I can't speak for them, but I don't have many rattles from my stuff. My doors rattle a bit. PHM found a fix for that which I'll try eventually. Most of my stuff is stored in a way that it doesn't rattle. My truck had the dreaded dash creak that many have, but I was able to fix it with backer rod.

If you find any, send me a link. :)

Honestly, I need to get rid of some junk. I just go to some remote places and don't want to me SOL if I don't have something.

Understood. If I even had 1 mountain around here that I could traverse, I'd be carrying much of what you have.
Unfortunately, there's not much need for tow straps, recovery treads and water filters on the city streets of Milwaukee...:(

I think May of 2020 in Milwaukee showed how quickly things can change - even in a city.
Prepping is really a matter of being ready for dealing with whatever after the rules change fast without out the time to prepare for it - hence prepping in advance. Look at what storms did to New Orleans or Naples, FL. Tow straps & recovery treads can be really useful in a blizzard or ice storm.
You never know. Maybe you get 24 hours warning - maybe.
