2021 Smokey 3.0 Build

Hey everybody, I am going to try and list all the build so far and keep updated with new stuff as it comes. I still have a ton of parts on the way, but they are back ordered.

Ended up using my same wheels as before which are the XD 128 on a 18x9 25mm offset
They are paired with a 3” mid travel lift.
The front currently only has the shocks and UCA because everything is still on order.
But it should have camburg uca, camburg spindles, fox shocks w/resi, deaver u487 springs, fox rear shocks w/resi, fox bump stops w/camburg mounts, and hellwig offset airbags for towing(pictures to come)

 

First thing I did, was the fun task of cutting into the floor to add this ESP box. It’s a pain and it hurts to take a knife to a truck with less than 500 miles on it, but it’s worth it.
The next thing I did was the wheel speed sensors were a slight concern when off roading, I had shredded one once before hitting a rock and I wanted to protect it this time. So I added some shield by Jomax

the next few things I did was I mocked up my dometic and some wavian Jerry cans in the back under my retrax. I’m still waiting on the slides for the dometic but I made some custom drop brackets for the gas cans out of some flatbar from Home Depot.

 

Just a quick little update on the truck!
Done a ton of stuff but will have a big update late next week.

changed the grill for the pro, mainly to shift the sonar down for the C4 bumper

also have prepped the rear tailgate area for the dometic, and tons of other stuff.
This will be the power point. What you also don’t see is the tembo tusk slide for the dometic

then I have a wiring disaster in the cab with a little sneak peak of what’s coming with a switch pros mounted in that awful document holder location


I have a question for anyone that knows, who is running a 11lb propane mount and what is a good mount to get? I’d like to mount it on the inner truss of a bed rack.

Alright it’s been a hot minute since I’ve updated this, but here we go

it started with the front and rear bumpers

Also managed to get the roof rack on with a light bar, going to put the side lights in this weekend

 

And also put a fun toy on the truck
Breaking just at 500HP
This Harrop SC is a blast

 

Nice truck. I like the switch pro location. Think that may be the route I go.
