    Hi,

This is on a 2001 Tundra Access Cab...

I found the instructions for programming the RS3000 dealer installed alarm here: https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OMTADG0183D/pdf/OMTADG0183D.pdf

I was able to turn off the Piezo chirps which were too loud.

I would like to change the remote to use one button for LOCK and the other for UNLOCK (so it works like my 03 4runner and 07 Tundra).

The instructions indicate that "both buttons can be programmed to operate the system in one vehicle"... but it doesn't say how. Haven't found through internet search either.

    Any ideas?

Now this is a good question. Not only am I wondering the same thing (why two buttons, if one does both functions?) but I would also like to kill that incessant chirping.

@N84434 You can kill the lock unlock chirp pretty easy - I wish it had a low chirp volume option.

Apparently, you can use one button for one vehicle, and another for a second vehicle with same alarm.

Maybe I should change the title of this to: ‘2019 Transmission Temp’ to keep it at the top of the list.

Can’t answer your question about how to program the 2 buttons, but can offer another solution to reducing the Piezo Buzzer. I simply put some tape over the Piezo located just under the box next to the Brake Fluid Rez. Its a red barrel type device with foam around it. The one end has wires and the other a small hole where the chirps emit.

That end is where a little piece of blue tape over the hole muffled the Piezo by about 80%. I still like to hear the Piezo to affirm the lock actions so a full silencing/disabling was not an option for me.

    The Piezo Muffle Mod.
