We’ll be sending the Karen Pump Police Patrol your way for violations of Federal Law. Never heard of anybody filling gas with the engine ON until a buddy of mine did it about 10 years ago. Guy was a Fire Fighter and somehow seemed to do things like use diesel to start his fire pit and end up in the hospital.

Another Karen Violation is the Toy Manual states filling when gassing will set off a CEL. :D

What’s wrong with Java chip mocha frapachino?

I end up leaving the truck running cause it’s 90 + degrees and the misses will not be happy if I leave her to sweat it out. You would be surprised how many people leave there vehicles running

My stories are mostly true here. They are vagued out in description to protect the guilty similar to a twatter or facebutt post fact checker karen does. One day we will all know the truth about Golden Hands.

Me, as well. Meanwhile, I’m still planting carbon inducing veggies in an act of offset vengeance. Basically, I’m Carbon Neutral like a Ying Yang Symbol until the check arrives.

Try cleaning your MAF sensor. A dirty one can cause sluggishness. Even if it doesn't correct your problem, it's good preventive maintenance.

I’m not bragging here, but my truck is performing freaking amazingly well. I was thinking last night how its just a good as brand new. I bet if I put smaller tires on it I’d blow the transmission. :D

I would let the tank run down below half a tank, add a bottle of Techron cleaner (treats 20 gallons) then drive until it's nearly empty. Fill up will Shell premium, disconnect the battery once again and then drive it like you will be driving it. The fuel injectors should be cleaner and the computer will learn how you drive & adjust. Don't hesitate to floor it, and run sustained higher RPMs often.

I've been driving my truck hard for a few days, she is a lot more power these days and has been performing amazing. Management hasn't driven it in about 2 weeks so I'm suspecting she fills with engine running, I just cannot get people to understand the basics.

After much tinkering with this truck and reading what @Professional Hand Model has done to his, I think we both have about the same setups, I can honestly stand by what I posted earlier. Replace maf, 02 sensors, 12 hole injectors and dry filter.
As mentioned above, disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll try those suggestions (may take a while on the injector$/ o2 $ensor$) . . . I can feel the power if I stand on it . . . guess I need to more often. I'll do the battery disconnect as well.
I'm still scratching my head at the 'fill-up while running' replies . . . I can be slow on the up-take . . . maybe I missed something there. LOL
Thanks again and will report back as things get done.

I can tell you that my truck is wonky, some days it's a slow, frustrating and outright piece of

I have been keeping the keys in my pocket, wifey has not driven it nor really road in it the last 2 weeks. That means it gets shut down at fill up and guess what? The truck has been solid, no sluggish feeling. Toyota said to shut it off and now I can say, do what toyota says

That's fair. Will you do any more experimenting down the road? I would like to see you shut it off for a few months and then leave it running and see if you still get the same results.

It's driven daily so that's a no. I have a few lingering things to take care of but the next big project will most likely be a lsd with either 4.30 or 4.56 gears.

Extremely serious that its in the manual. Its also bad for the environment as you are burning unnecessary gas while getting gas which is another violation. The Nutter Patrol is another organization to which you’ll be reported.

For years I have legit advocated for fueling with engine on when it’s cold out.

I also am a terrible human being. But I think I love the Tundra more than my Accord and likely won't continue that practice.

Well, YEAH, when it's cold-cold and you're afraid it won't start if you shut it off.
