Looks great. I scrolled back to the first post. Your truck has come a long ways. What tires are those?

Thanks. They're Toyo Open Country R/T 265/70R17. I really like the aggressive look of them, better than the Open Country A/T

Hey! New to the forum and first time Tundra/Toyota owner. Soon to be taking ownership of my Dad's 2003 SR5 TRD Off Road Access Cab.

It's in great shape inside and out. A few minor donks and paint wear and tear, nothing beyond normal wear and tear. No major rust. 188K miles. Runs like a champ.

So far we added new headlights and fog lights (LOVE the yellow), new struts for the bed cap, new performance exhaust, new off road tires, refinished the rims, new spark plugs, its getting a 1" lift all around, new upgraded Bilsteins all around, new brakes all around. It has an after market Kenwood head unit and a really basic backup camera. Engine and tranny were serviced and the interior detailed.

Once I get it I want to build it into an over-lander. But for now, it's going to get me a lot farther as is than my 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis haha

I'm liking the yellow fog lights. What brand did you end up going with?

Thanks! Me too. I’ve always liked the look on sportier cars. I think they work well on this. The brand was Lumen. I think I got them off CarID

Just moved to Alaska and picked up this Beaut. It came with some moog front struts and toytec shocks/add a leaf in the back. Gonna be replacing it all with some Billies, and aftermarket UCA’s (haven’t decided which ones yet) hopefully within this next year. Here are some pics of when I first got it, to now. The last one is a mock up I made with Pro Create. Going for a mild overland rig.

Congrats to all with the best color tundra ever made! I’m thinking of wrapping the chrome on my SR5 and I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a decent color match. Amazon has some 3M satin dark grey that looks like it might be close enough. Anyone have any input? Thanks

Got it last month. Need to clean it up and take off the shell. But its a solid, comfortable truck. Just got it titled and registered! And have the TRD Pro SEMA wheels ready to go!

Funny, me and the management dept (wifey) were looking into steel frame houses because of the hurricanes. Rust would be an issue but we would be long dead by the time it shows it’s face

Rust on galvanized steel? Houses are not put through the same hell as cars. This house is approaching the 20 year old mark and the deck is stele framed. No rust except light surface rust on the I beam under the deck. (That I need to go clean up and paint)

I was saying rust over here for us would be a problem eventually because of the salt air. You don’t have that issue
