I'm trying to plan a camping trip for spring break 2021 with the family. Going to pull our new trailer over for a camping trip. Does anyone have any experience at either one of these parks that could give us pro's and con's for each one. Both look absolutely beautiful but I know nothing of either one. Thanks for the help.

I love Capital Reef, but there is only one developed campsite so, unless you are planning some boondocking in dispersed camping in the back country, you will want to plan ahead and sign up for a site as soon as they are available. They don't have hookups, but they do have an RV dump on one of the loops. As for things to do in Capital Reef, it has some great scenery and some back country roads and hikes that get back into the untouched areas. Though I don't think I could spend a whole week with my family there, yours may be different. I would love to get into some of the back country areas of Capital Reef one day. I have heard people do both Capital Reef and Bryce Canyon in one week. Spend one night in Fruita Capital Reef, then head down to Bryce through Torrey, Boulder, and Escalante.

I have unfortunately never been to Bryce Canyon, though it is on my list. Escalante Grand Staircase are also down that way.

Here is a some pictures I took this year down there.
Let's see your Tundra in scenic places!

Bryce Canyon is absolutely stunning. Just unreal. But that said, I don’t think I could spend a whole week there. We went for Spring Break this year in mid March and most of Bryce was closed due to snow so we got a total of two hours there. Only the lookouts were open. Capitol Reef is much bigger with more area to explore.

So all that said, can you do both?

We are going explore Escalante for Spring Break next year to hike slot canyons before heading down the Zion.

We're going to Yellowstone in Early August but want to plan a stay at Bryce Canyon for a few days. Any recommendations that accept a 32' Trailer?
