Is the USB port on a 2020 Tundra 2.0 or 3.0? I am going to pick up a USB drive later and want to see if its worth it to get a 3.0 drive. If the Tundra is only 2.0 then it would not be worth it. Thanks

What are your goals with the USB Drive? USB 2.0 transfer speed is 480 megabits per second (Mbps), while USB 3.0 transfer speed is 4,800 Mbps. This means USB 3.0 is approximately 10 times faster than USB 2.0. It makes a difference when transferring large files, but I'm not sure how much of a benefit it will be for a truck head unit. If I had to guess it's 2.0

USB 2.0 will do that no issues. Also If you look at the port and the plastic piece inside is black it's 2.0, 3.0 has a blue insert to help easily differentiate

if you getting your songs from a PC 3.0 usb then get a 3.0 drive to transfer at 3.0 speed to drive then play at 2.0 on the tundra HU imo

I just stream on my HU. havent used cd or usb stick in ages :D
