Nice! Is it hard to see out the back? Have you had any trouble cleaning the truck's back glass? Not really seeing how you could get to it unless the front window of the topper drops down and you could clean the truck window from inside the topper (which I don't think would be done very often).

You can open the window on the topper and clean it. I run boxes on rails in the rear view area in the topper when on the road traveling (which my truck isn’t a DD so is a majority of the time) , so I don’t have visibility regardless. But when they aren’t in there, it’s limited but you can see out of it.

Have you thought about installing a rearview camera mirror and mounting the camera on the top of the camper at the back?

Not really. I just use the side mirrors when I’m loaded. It doesn’t bother me. There’s a small slit between the boxes that I can see a just a bit, but with BSM and the side mirrors it’s not that bad.

I will update the original post but just installed a powerstop brake kit this week. As she sits now:
    F90EF615-0EBD-4165-B5B4-1F4B70F80DEF.jpg
Happy with the setup. Only thing I feel I’m missing is full armor. I don’t wheel it too hard but it’s nice insurance.
We leave for the IDBDR in a few weeks, so it will just be general maintenance and PMCS.
Installed items not in the OP:
    - 67designs arms and holders
    - Midland 275 radio
    - @ragofabrication dash plate
    - roof rack Waterport mount from @upTOPOverland
    - Rigd Swing arm
    - 1Up bike rack

Finished the IDBDR last week. Couldn’t be happier with how the truck performed. She’s going into hibernation now and getting some work done like last year. Coming next:

    - C4 Hybrid front bumper
    - wrap
    - Bed slide
    - dual battery and solar (needs and wants TBD)
    - bigger leaf pack

But for now she just needs a bath and a rest

BIG changes coming to the rig. Flatbed conversion first. PCOR or FWC Hawk next. Leaning FWC for indoor living and more long distance/term travel comforts. But really like the electronics of the PCOR better than the FWC but then it’s RTT and hard to work on the road.
Biggest challenge has, and remains the mtb’s without killing departure angle. Working through the details now.

Will be adding heavier duty springs, gears and LSD or lockers. (Pending research)

May go down to a 17” wheel too. Come on @SCSPerformance i need an option there first though! ;)

Looking forward to next season already!

I’m a slacker and need to update the OP but here’s what’s next:
    On order:
    - 5.29’s and E-locker
    - C4 hybrid front bumper
    - wrap appt scheduled

    soon to be ordered:
    - weboost
    - CB shackles
    - storage solutions
    - skids

As long term and long distance travke become more of a possibility it drives the build direction.

Forgot that I’ll also be adding the @upTOPOverland snorkel when released for the tundra. I went down and demanded to be first ha. So much lower profile than the ARB and Dobbinson and will secure to my roof rack so no more drilling from what they told me the other day when I went down.

I am really bad about updating this thread. But after almost 15k miles this summer I will be making some changes over the winter for a variety of reasons. Here is what is up next in the upcoming months:
    - Nitro 5.29's
    - Searching for gears with the weight and 35's is never ending in the mtns.
    - Dirty sevens
    - Weboost (or remote internet connection)
    - Long term and distance travel is becoming more and more realistic. Staying connected as the transition happens will be key. I am holding on this until I see what shakes out with 5G on these units, or if someone like Starlink will work without the refresh (video conferencing is an important factor to long term travel)
    - CB Shackles
    - Try and eliminate the Rigd Ultra swing to reduce weight. Which means getting the bikes and spare into the bed
    - Overall bed reorganization is the very top of my priority. I found getting things into and out of the bed, was a bit of an issue. Not enough of one to justify a bed slide, but just getting things in different spots and different boxes will do the trick. Also the departure ange with the Rigd, and the 1UP rack limits tough to reach camping, so it has to be addressed.

weboost, or something similar, is on my list as well. the mofi units are a bit intriguing to me as well.

I’ve seen those too. If Starlink gets it together without the refresh (I mean just launch another 10k satellites doesn’t seem to hard lol) and portable enough receiver they will kill this market. With every major carrier now 5G I’m just concerned the tech will change. I’m holding on getting anything until next year. For now seems the best option is a weboost and jet pack (I’m Verizon)

Such a weird year. I assume we will see state wide fire bans again here next year. It was really disappointing to see so many people trash the outdoors with new people getting into camping. I’m hoping the enthusiasm will die out, or they learned from last year to protect our precious lands.
