I have searched the forum and can't find another question like mine:
My 2003 Tundra SR5 Sport ExtCab is at 206,000 miles and has been largely trouble free, so this is hardly more than a nagging issue. Even when buckled up and driving down the highway, the seatbelt warning light appears on the dash. The switch or whatever detects the presence of the seat belt inside the buckle is dirty or failing or whatever. The dealer wants to sell me an entire new driver's side seatbelt assembly. The budget for that would finance the entire economy of a small, third-world country. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Try a used buckle from a junkyard.

That dealer is trying to rip you off. You can buy a buckle online for around $45.

Its never always this easy, but my passenger side was blinking when i bought mine. I reconnected the wire at the connector under the seat and the light went away.
