Hair dryer or heat gun on low. Also before you seal it back up put some silica packs in the headlights. You can get them from TRS.

Yes, it will clear up. Maybe remove the back cap that you drilled through to let the air in. What does the hole look like that you drilled through? I drilled a hole through the cap, pushed a rubber tapered grommet through it, drilled a hole through it, and pushed the wires through. It wasn't easy but it survived drive through car wash today.

I've currently got the dust cover off of the headlight to see if it'll dry out. So far, no change I'll probably need to use a heat source to help. I'll update later.

Update on this; I did successfully get all of the moisture out of the headlight by removing the headlight housing from the truck and leaving the dust cap off for a few days. Still not positive how the moisture got into the headlight, I did silicone the hid wires pretty good.
Unfortunately, my led DRL light tube is not working now. I don't know if it was not working right before all of this, but I tried re installing everything tonight and it won't work. I emailed Alpharex to see what I can do. Hopefully there's a warranty. I'll update when I hear more.

Alpharex replaced my headlight, it was a relatively easy process. Great customer service! Got the new headlight installed tonight and everything is back to normal now.

Does anyone have photos of the chrome housing on a silver truck? My 07 is silver with the great big chrome grandpa grill with chrome accents. I don’t like chrome, but I think they would look better then black.

Well I got my headlamps installed over the weekend.

I would like to get some brighter low beans. Also think I have them aimed a bit low, the cut off seems pretty close and found myself switching from Low to high non stop on back roads.

Does anyone have a recommendation for LED turn signals?

Would someone mind posting a close up photo of the DRL bar? I am on the fence with these or the morimotos and am concerned the DRL bar may look cheap or "plasticy" in person like some of the cheap ebay lights, if that makes since.

The Alpharex are well made, and the DRLS are plenty bright. If you try to run your amber running lights it will dim them. If you leave them off they will be at maximum output. I can't speak for the Morimoto XB, but a lot of members run them. Imop you can't go wrong with either brand. The output on my Nova's are insane. They are night and day compared to the spyders and anything else for that matter. Check around on their website or Facebook page for possible discounts.

Here's a pic with amber and without. Sorry not the best pics. Hope this helps

When it isn't illuminated, does that DRL look like a white piece of plastic diffuser or is it tinted, textured any way? I have been looking on their facebook as well some photos make it look almost silver or metallic some make it look like just a white plastic.

It's not tinted or textured. Its not cheap plastic looking. Not sure what your asking. There well made headlights. I got mine wired via fuse tap to ignition source.

Hello everyone new to the site. I have an 08 sequoia platinum and am dying to upgrade my headlights. Is it just me or are the factory turn signals a major eye sore with the alpharex headlights. Does anyone know of anybody customizing these to have sequential turns?

The Morimoto XB give you the option to have sequential turn signals.

Totally understood, besides tge price factor on the morimoto's i'm really digging the activation sequence. That will make my 08 look more modern. I guess thats the only thing we sequoia and tundra owners got going for us is the body style hasnt changed. Just bumpers and internal dash and steering wheel changes is all we had over the years.

Yes, many of us started swapping in LED H7 bulbs at the beginning of the year which can be found in this thread, my post is #192 on pg7. There was talk of compiling a list of bulbs that would clear the dust cover but I'm not sure if that ever happened. However a quick look back at the beginning of this thread should show a few different LED bulbs that clear the dust cap.

Installed Alpharex pros today..Everything works except the high beams?? Fuses are good and double checked the connections..Anyone have this problem?

Edit..Fixed called Alpharex said it may be reversed polarity? When I was going to swap the pins they looked like they were bent too close together. I slightly spread them out and now all is well! Also when you connect the highbeams to the harness you should feel it click in place, mine wouldn’t until I spread the pins, it looked like it was connected but not quite.

Don't mean to hijack this thread on the alpharex headlights but has anyone purchased and installed the alpharex tail lights recently? Was initially looking to get the syder tails but saw the alpharex tails and would like to get those to pair with my headlights.

I don't have Alpharex's yet but I like reading reports that people are happy with the product and customer service. I hope as a company they are here to stay.

So to clarify, we buy H7 led bulbs for a 2011 tundra with alpharex pro headlights?

Just wanted to be the first to let everyone know that i just heard from Aplharex that in the next ciuple months they will be releasing a newer version of headlights for our trucks with sequential turn signals. Who knows maybe if we act on it fast we can inquire a little more and get a group buy for this newer version. I was told could be in as little as a few weeks to 2 months. Thats the only way im getting these if they have the sequential turns.

Good looking out! My new set showed up two days ago and has the sequential turn signals, so it looks like I'm one of the first to get them! The specific color/option that I bought was backordered on the site, so I'm not sure if all colors/options are available with sequential turn signals yet, or just the ones that I got.
