For those of you who have had the airbags replaced as part of the recall, did they take off your existing steering wheel cover and rivet it on the new airbag? Or did they replace the steering wheel airbag and cover as well? Thanks

    It's really dark
This is my 3rd time around, first time they didn't give me a new cover and last time was passenger side, no new cover there either.

Steering wheel bag is an assy with cover , passenger side they only replace inflator, minus dash cover
You can’t buy cover separate on passenger side , cover and inflator come as assembly onLy pass side,

I wonder if I get a used airbag and cover and added audio switches before I take it to the dealer if they will replace it with the same. Or will they go by the VIN?
