    Hey Tundra owners,

I'm a marketing manager for a company called AAMP Global https://aampglobal.com/. We make several brands of awesome products for many vehicles. One of our popular brands is Stinger Electronics (www.stingerelectronics.com). We need to find a 2007-2013 Tundra to use for a video shoot next week.

If you live in the Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater Florida area and are willing to let us use your truck for 2 days, we would like to install our Stinger HEIGH10 10" multimedia radio into it https://stingerelectronics.com/products/heigh10.

This is an example of the video we made for the F150. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lM6Ea-YnzBE&t=329s

I'm not selling anything. I'm asking to borrow a truck for a few hours on Wednesday and Thursday next week Aug 19th and 20th (we just can't rent a 2013 anymore). When we are done shooting the install video, you can keep the installed HEIGH10 radio. If you are interested, please let me know.
    Thanks for considering.
    Eric

Once you do this install you should post back here the link to the vid. Others would definitely be interested to see how things went and how it turns out.

    CapeTundra,
That is awesome that you are willing to make the drive! Thank you so much :) I texted you some additional info, so we can set up details. That's a great idea Zimms, we will have to share the link. My video editor guy is pretty quick and skilled, so I imagine he will have the video done the week after next.

    Eric,

Not trying to hijack your thread and welcome to the forum. Your new double din audio stuff looks great!

Stinger Amps have been the latest greatest amp for the Harley crowd. Many different MC forums I'm on, praise your stuff.

In fact, I'm getting ready to install my Stinger XPS700x4 amp along w/ MMats PA601 cx & Hertz HCX165 speakers onto my 2009 CVO Road Glide!

My question to you, is there plans for Stinger to make a single din, water proof (marine grade/H20 resistance) radio for the motorcycle crowd? That would work w/ handlebar controls?

(If you need a test mule? lol)

I checked with my Product Manager, unfortunately we don't have any waterproof single DIN radios in the works. We went the way of the 3" round radio for our waterproof model. This one works for boats, and off-road vehicles like Polaris Rzr and others. https://stingerelectronics.com/collections/powersports-audio-systems

We do have some PAC products that allow you ro upgrade your radio in your Harley, and keep your handlebar controls. https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/standard-interfaces/hdk001x

My stock HU is still kicking, but when time comes, I will for sure order the HU cover and controls. Good looking out!

Hey Tundra owners! We have upgraded several other vehicles with our Stinger HEIGH10 10" multimedia unit, and now I am back to trying to trying to find someone with a 2007-2013 Tundra who would like to bring their truck to Clearwater for 2 days, where we can replace the factory radio with a HEIGH10 that you can keep for free.

Our goal is to film an installation video for our product for Tundra. Here is the kit for Tacoma.

We will have the truck professionally cleaned, and we will use correct install techniques to ensure a quality installation. If you are interested in upgrading and having the HEIGH10 in your Tundra, and your Tundra on our website Stinger Off Road, then please let me know and we can make arrangements. We are looking to shoot the week of 11-30 through 12-04. But the next week works as well.

Can't make this happen without a Tundra.
    thank you,
    Eric

The HEIGH10 does support steering wheel controls. When we do our installations, we use out PAC branded radio replacement interfaces, which do retain steering wheel controls, factory amplifier and all those goodies :)

Just saw this. Had my Pioneer Avic double DIN radio swapped out with new Kenwood 1037 10” screen - plays hiRez audio (no nav). It wasn’t cheap and the radio blocks the view of my HVAC controls below it. Installing shop is difficult to work with and never answer phones. Only drawback so far is the hard wiring for CarPlay works intermittently. I have to use Bluetooth. Bigger screen is welcome for my poor eyesight. What’s the price of Stinger head unit? Looks good.

Our radio isn't Cheap either, but we feel it's accurately priced at an MSRP of $999. Here is a link to the HEIGH10 product page if you want to take a look at the other info. https://stingerelectronics.com/products/heigh10

I have a HEIGH10 in my Camry and use Android Auto a lot, as well as BT for streaming when I'm not using navigation from the Android Auto. I don't have connectivity issues as long as I use a good USB cable, and one without adapters. just plug into the radio, and directly into your phone, for best results.
I hear you on that eyesight thing... life keeps happening one day at a time.

    H ave a great one!

Nice unit - easier to read, more intuitive than Kenwood - menu is better. $1k (w/Nav) is a good price. Can you adjust it up/down? Kenwood is limited.
