Good evening - I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra 4.6L SR5 that has 148,000 miles and there appears to be no record of the transmission oil being changed. The question is, is it advisable to change the transmission oil and filter now or not?

If it was mine I'd change it, I'd start by draining the pan, then replacing the 4 qts or so that drains. Maybe drive a few hundred miles, then repeat that once more, then do a complete fluid change along with the filter afterwards. But if you wanted to change everything now I don't think it would pose a problem
