There are a couple of ways to do this mod. But I prefer this way in order to keep from bending your relay. But works great, turns on with my auto, dl, low beams, high beams. And turns off when I turn lights off or truck off.

Loaded up the family and five bikes. Went for a long ride. Tornadoes aside, we have had pretty phenomenal weather in middle TN this year.

Patrick, I watched the video last night. The only thing that I was wondering about......when you put the 2 lines on the thermostat, did you just do a best guess on the angle to get an idea of what position the curves in the lines should be? (If that makes sense).

Yep, I know what you’re asking...you can actually spin the lines to get them where you need them (for the correct angle)...even with the clamps on, they’ll spin relatively easy, but won’t come off

I’d say if you get them even somewhat close to what I show, you would easily be able to adjust them once ya have thermostat in position

IIRC the lows turn off on most vehicles when the highs are on don't they?....unless they are Leds.

Sounds like a plan. I'm used to working on aircraft engines where the lines don't move lol.

Yeah, but she’s getting pretty tired of me begging for forgiveness over the past week. Luckily I’ve been able to make a few side hussles to put back into the bank roughly the same amount I’ve been pulling out. Anyone need a kick-ass 3-yr old HP workstation-grade 17” laptop? :D

Not the few times I’ve tested/checked...Low beams would stay on in addition to the high beams and the fogs would cut out.

and now for something completely different...

I had a standard US style FloGrown front plate on the truck but...
I have stacks of custom Euro style plates in my garage from driving German cars for decades.
Anyway...this fits better up front and yes, I see it too, it's not on exactly straight.
But a little tip of the hat to my USAF folks out there!
