I have an 08 tundra crew Max the other day I was driving not in four-wheel-drive and the dashboard lit up like Christmas the Hi lo four-wheel-drive lights were flashing ABS light was on skidding light was on the VSC light was flashing when I took it in there were no codes showing I can usually clear up by turning the car off and then turning it back on any ideas what could be wrong...kind of at a loss.

    Thanks

Did this happen at start up or randomly during the drive?

    Sounds like the infamous AIP....

Edit: After @Wynnded and @Sean266 mentioned it, a wheel sensor makes a lot of sense.

Nor7 The first time it happened I was driving down the road have been in and out of four-wheel-drive with address it's coming back from Denver but since then it mostly happens on start up. I just took the car in for an oil change and have them checkto see if it threw any codes and there were no codes to be found. Thanks for your help.

I'm going to say that it isn't the AIP, no CEL. Quick question though, what happens when you try to go from 2WD to 4WD and back? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if you were to connect Tech Stream, you'll find ABS codes and one of them will be for a bad sensor. Let me know what you find.

More recently I noticed that the ABS light comes on and stays on and then as I start to drive it will either go off or the other lights will come on. I can usually turn the off the truck and then turn it back on the ABS light will come on again and it'll go off or throw the lights again usually it goes off the second or third time I restart the car truck. Thank you for your help.

The wheel sensor makes sense, but when you took it to get the codes checked were the warning lights still on or did you "clear" them by turning the truck on/off?

If the lights are on when it's scanned you will get a code right? I guess what I'm getting at is if that is the case, if it happens again I would try to get it scanned at the dealer while it is still lit up if possible. If that isn't possible even a free AutoZone or so molar scan in case it is an abs sensor. I am assuming to do AIP the dealer needs to read that code if it can be a warranty job.

An AIP issue will set a CEL. OP never stated that there was one. Last weekend I looked at a neighbor's 08 with the exact same lights as mentioned by the OP, Tech Stream was needed to read the ABS codes. It will also show any permanently logged codes. Some OBD readers will show these, some will not. Some readers may be able to read ABS codes, others probably can't. Also, it may be difficult to persuade shop to look for codes when there isn't a light actually showing on the dash.

OP, I think that you're at the very least going to have to spend enough to get someplace that can read ABS codes to steer you in the right direction with this.

How's your brakes? squishy? normal? My OBD2 ABS code was C0201 front left wheel speed sensor. Caused havoc on my brakes! Later found it wasn't the sensor but the ABS ring on the bearing caked-up from a decaying bearing assembly, blocking the pulses from the magnetic ABS ring that the sensor reads. Good luck to you!

Do you have a remote starter? I hit the wrong button on mine the other day and the whole dash went off/on until I played with the keyfob

My tundra skid control and abs lights serie on and 4hi and 4lo were flashing . Looked under the car and there was a cut wire on the harness that goes to the speed sensors. First check for the whole abs harness . My guess was my dog chewed some of the wire i put it back together And no mire lights are on again.
