I had asked @blackoutt about this quite sometime back since he did it.
Here's a screenshot of his reply.

Yes it is possible, I'm running this setup up..... as there are several as well on here that are. Now you didn't specify anything else, so are you trying to run this stock or what size lift?

Are they 12.5 wide 37s? post pictures of your lower control arm cam tab adjusters, body mount chop, pinch weld area, and I'm not familiar with these upper control arms, are they the heimed adjustable ones? Also any pictures of any areas of rub that you're concerned about. We can make this work!

Hey they are 37s 12.5 on 17s it’s a deal I was offered but didn’t know if I’m going down a rabbit hole. I posted a pic of my upper arms. I have a bmc it will need more and have to do a pinch. But I think a member @joonbug did this and still couldn’t fit a 37

Just buy them and figure it out, dude! Every truck is different, and what one person says "fits" may not match another person's definition. If they're as good a deal as you're saying, you're probably not going to lose money if you have to turn around and sell them.

I really like those wheels! but I'm biased.

Ah okay, so your uppers aren't adjustable. You're kind of stuck with cutting more to make them fit then since your only alignment adjustment is on the lowers. Definitely going to need to work on the pinch weld area and lose some of the liner over it, mines cut at an angle from the lowest outside corner up towards the first inner plastic liner clip. I still rub in certain situations btw, it's a way of life. Just buy them and figure it out later.

Joonbug wheels his truck pretty hard....and without him putting in his two cents, I'd day what he meant was that it didn't work for him at "Full stuff" of the wheel. If you don't go 80-100mph in the desert and just lightly wheel offroad at the most then you'd probably be OK. With that said, someone on here said it correctly when they mentioned that what works for one truck, won't work for the next.... which is very strange but true with our trucks. If I remember correctly, the TCA uppers.... if that's what you have, already have alot of castor built in.... even though they aren't adjustable. When you get it aligned, you want 4-5+ on castor.... which is what pushes the wheel forward. Are you running a stock front bumper? Because this is the other issue, if so then your just pushing the tire into your bumper/flaps now.... if your handy with a side grinder and while you're at completing your BMC (which is super easy to do) then just trim away from the front. I'm in agreement with everyone else... if you have an awesome deal then go for it! @KevinK is one of the few on here that was on 37s with minimal lift... maybe he'll pipe in. Keep us in the loop on which route you go!

So this is the best they said they could do with the caster. And no I have an nfab front bumper I have a ton of room up front. I have someone to do a better chop and pinch. I hope they fit but I also wouldn’t want to replace my rims and upper arms just for wheel size. Yah I’ve texted joon for sure lol. And I’m sure he goes way harder then I ever will lol

so that may be the best they could do on caster while keeping camber in spec, still seems low for TC upper arms that have caster built in though. With adjustable upper arms, you can max the lowers out for the most caster, then dial the camber back into spec with the uppers. I like the driving feel of 4-5 degrees caster.

My caster is 3.8 and 4.3... we literally have the same front end components... you can get more if you make some small sacrifices

The caster is the least of your worries. You can always chop more and more until they fit or get new Heimed uppers. What you can’t get around is hitting the wheel arch with the top of your tires. Here’s a pic of my old truck at medium stuff. This is only with a 34.5” tire and +25 offset. Imagine a tire that will be over 1” closer to the fender and about 1.5” further out. One big hit and you’re either trashing your fenders or your tires.
    5119F49D-945B-48E7-A50B-67E1C28472C9.jpg

Picture this honker on a stock fender
    BF5A10FB-9039-4DE5-8668-3BDB4EB90CF7.jpg

It can probably be done somehow. I just don’t think it’s going to be worth the trouble. If the wheels and tires are that good a deal, I would grab them, buy new wheels and put the tires on the new wheels.

Honest question here, so with 37s do you need to air down as low?

The sidewall height would be taller, of course :tinfoilhat:, but would a taller sidewall allow for more deformation and contact even at higher pressures?

Also, considering cavity size, 15 psi (arbitrary #) in a 35 vs 15 psi in a 37 would result in more gas being present in the 37 despite the same pressure. Would this allow you to theoretically run a lower PSI while still maintaining comparable deformation to a 35, at a higher PSI in the 37?
