    Not enough.
Not sure how many people are interested, but I found a super simple remote start that works great. I found it on Amazon for like 188 I think from Start-X for my 2013. It was all plug and play, NO splicing, and uses my factory fob. Simply click lock three times, it fires up. Click three times again and it shuts off. Auto shut off after 15 minutes. Keep truck locked. Perfect for those cold mornings!
I'm sure someone has posted it before, but I still wanted to put it out there for anyone who didn't see it. 10/10 would recommend!!IMG_20201107_193652_437.jpg

I got the Fortin from tech12V group buy here. super easy install. plug and play and use oem fob. You can also add extra module for smartphone access. was about the same price.

    nice truck too.

In late 2010 they switched from the “dot” key that 2007-early 2010 had to the “g” key. This kit (like Tech12volt) is only plug and play for trucks with a “g” key. I used the tech12volt kit on my early 2010 “dot” key and had to splice a couple wires.

Good post... and for anyone on the fence I had this on my 10 tundra for 5 years and I’ve had it on my 17 for 2 years now without any issues whatsoever.

Great price and very easy install.

I used a Fortin Evo kit from ebay seller warmcarnow for my 08. You do have to tap a few wires. Easy to do with the posi taps he gives you.

For those considering this, don't underestimate the usefulness of the smartphone/smartwatch app. I like that I can start the car from anywhere, unlock it if I lock my keys inside, and find it on a map if it gets stolen (or more likely, I forget where I parked). The install from 12volt.solutions was plug-and-play. You pay $39/yr for service but it's been 100% reliable and it's probably cheaper than the gas I burn while it's warming up lol.

I'd recommend people go for the tech12volt kit as it supports a dude's business and not Amazon

Start-X is the one I put in my 2012. Very easy install and works pretty good.
