I plan to install Bilsein 6112 coil over and 5100 shocks on my 2017 SR5. I want to keep the rims I have and upgrade the tire size. I do have a print out of tire and lift specs from this site but It doesn't have any info of what width rims for the different size tires. So, do I need to stay with a 65 width with the stock rims? And, what would be the tallest tire size should I stay with?IMG_2926.jpg

Lots of threads on here about tire size and lift size and all that jazz. The factory rims are 8" wide, and most tire manufacturers will list recommended rim widths for their tires. I personally ran 305 width on my 2008 for about 50k (a set of BFG KO2s) and while it worked, they were a bit wide for the factory tires (BFG recommends minimum 8.5" rim for that width tire) and caused me issues with the ABS speed sensors when cornering tight/fast.

There's also some good info here:
https://parts.olathetoyota.com/blog...ax tire sizes are:,4/10ths wider than factory

Thanks, appreciate the help! I'm trying to stay as close to stock as possible w/o getting out of control.

295/70/18 are a nice fit for the Tundra. I doesn't change the way the truck handles very much. Looks way better than factory.
It affects gas mileage slightly .... when you buy truck that probably wasn't your main concern anyways.
