It's going to get patched eventually. Other more important projects at the moment. The brake lines are looking angry so I'm collecting parts to fix that. Maybe I'll post some pictures when I do that, but it's probably nothing new to the northerners on here lol.

I also picked this up yesterday for $200.:D

I noticed that my 5.7 fuel injectors were getting a little louder and my mpg's may have been suffering, so I followed advice given by S. Kilmer. I allowed the tank to empty down to about 1/4 tank, and then I added enough Techron cleaner to treat 20 gallons. I drove around until I was near empty, and then I filled the tank with Shell 93. The engine is quieter than I remember, and the performance seems to be more aggressive. Win - Win.

Grill and lights look sweet! I want to do the same bit my wife would kill me if I dropped that much on the truck right now for “cosmetics”. I need to drop that between air bags and a RCI skid plate cause my stock skid was gone when I bought it and it would be nice to have protection there. Think I’ll roll those upgrades into when I do a front bumper.....yeah dear the lights were cloudy and the original grill wouldn’t fit right with the new bumper....so I had to get this one

Well...my headlights were cloudy! And She was with me when I hit the owl! :curls:

RCI skid plates are a must have! Better in every way vs factory!

Man, these things included on 120k mile service add up quick! $180-something just to drain and fill the transmission, $150 for this flush and that flush...

(Disclaimer: I’m not complaining about mechanics or dealerships, after all they need to make money too. Just amazed at all the various things that’re recommended!)

I’m assuming that’s a Sequoia grille? Does it fit right without any modification? Looks awesome.

Yeah the coolant flush is probably gonna be the last thing done on the list for me too. I’ll probably have em do the diffs and transfer case next, maybe the injector cleaning too. Then the spark plugs. It’d be nice to get employee pricing!
