Earnhardt is a joke... I went there bc they said they had a limited tundra crewmax 4x4. I drove there and they said we don't have that.... we have a platinum that is 65K... lol.. hell no. went to big two and sales guy Zen tried to sell me a used Tundra with 36k on it for 54k OTD. lol I told him he was high. then I went to Berges Riverview talked with Robert and I told him off the bat I wasn't paying for all the extra dealership stuff especially "nitrogen filled tires". lol. So he took all that off the price msrp on truck showed 53K before tax title license. I ended up getting mine for 47k and with tax title license it was 53K who knew that registration on these trucks is $800 a year... lol. I made it worse I did a veteran plate and did personalize. LOL but it looks good.

I actually talked to that same guy at Berge (Robert Watson). He seemed like a pretty good dude, not pushy at all and pretty knowledgeable about Tundras. Would have loved to buy from him but ended up getting mine from AutoNation Tempe.

Riverview and Right have been good thus far. Had an email issue with Right so they remedied that issue and offered me a good OTD price on Tundra ordered how I want on paper. No BS extra dealer packages or anything I don't want. Riverview offered to match it but still are trying to sell their $895 "protection package" I think and haven't given me a quote on paper yet. Sounds like I'll have to go in for that which I'd rather not. I'll go with whoever works out easier but leaning towards Right currently. Those are really the only two dealers that even offered to place an order.

I tried the Costco program through Earnhardt and he just gave me some MSRP and above prices on trucks...lol.

Right Toyota showed me a piece of paper about 5 times that said they were one of the top 5 volume dealers in the country. Not sure I believe that but if true that would makes sense why they would have a little more buying power to place an order for you.

I believe it. They have a lot of stock and are in Scottsdale where people probably trade and lease every year. Lol

I went straight through the internet sales manager. Don't think one of the floor salesman would have cut me much of a deal nor offer to order one. Right was 9.3% off MSRP plus rebate. I'm sure I can knock some more off like buyback but since they are willing to order I'm probably not going to haggle much more.

Reach out to Robert at Riverview. He took all that other BS off except for the “Datadot” with was like $75 or $100. Which I figured it was ok since I was saving money on other stuff.

Can anyone use an aftermarket axle for the passenger side? This was on my truck for about a week until I was able to get it replaced with an oem unit. Nothing wrong with it. If not, it will be going in the trash. Came off a 2017 crew max limited 4x4, not sure what other years it's compatible with. Pick up on the west side in Glendale.

Surprisingly my wife is on board with a suspension upgrade in the near future, so I’m trying to do my homework and make sure I get something I’ll really like. Anyone in the east valley running Icons? I would love to see how the digressive valving feels in person if anyone would be gracious enough to meet up. Thanks!

Nice, that’s exactly the one I’m looking at. Do you like it? Have you tried other brands in the past? Pros / cons from your experience?

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/update-icon-tundra-stages-explained.21840/

The difference between stage 5 and 6 is about 500-600 bucks. With stage 6 you get some type of adjustment. (Full disclosure, I'm still learning suspension) I went through Erick and Ben and they pushed stage 6, my checkbook said stage 5 though. It is smooth, and going over any speedbump or bump in general it just sticks. I cant explain it....the front end comes up on the bump, but when it goes down, it sticks, it doesn't come back up again. I love em.

This is my first lifted truck. I did months and months of research and decided that I don't go fast enough, or jump far enough, or race baja 500 enough to be concerned about the macros of the big 3. Fox, Icon, King.....can't go wrong.

Agreed, and I’m coming from a simple spacer lift so any of those should be a huge improvement in ride quality. That said, ride quality is a subjective metric and greatly depends on how you use your truck. I would just hate to drop that kind of money on something that I don’t really love. I’m fine with the “buy once cry once” philosophy....just don’t want to cry twice.

I know some folks are uneasy with all the COVID stuff going on, but if you’re up for a quick test drive one of these days I would really appreciate getting to experience it firsthand. But I completely understand if you’d rather keep your distance, no judgment there.

I have the Stage 9 with the billet UCA’s and the S2 Stage 3 upgrade system. I am in Sun Lakes. You will not be disappointed with either set up you go with.

So we should try to plan a meet. We could do it at Tempe marketplace so it is centralized for everyone that attends.

Hey AZ folks. I have a chrome grill free for the taking if anybody wants it. I'm in Tucson and prefer not to deal with any shipping nonsense.

Having said that, if I'm heading to the Phoenix area, which I might be doing later this month, I wouldn't mind bringing it along.

It's from my 2010 and it's in good shape. Emblem not included.

Hey AZ Tundra guys and gals. Anybody making a run from Tucson to the Phoenix area somewhere in the near future?

Looking to help a Tundra brother out. Got a guy on here that would like to take my free chrome grill but not sure if/when I'll be headed to the Phoenix area. He's in Laveen and doesn't mind picking it up somewhere in the valley.

Anybody headed my way and up to doing a shuttle run to get that thing up there?

    TIA, Bender
