I have the hakzall little baby 12 volt sawzall...it is a fantastic tool, my wife and I use it all the time. She uses it for trimming trees around the property, I use it for cutting basically anyhting that isnt in my garage, but I agree that it isnt a "real" reciprocating saw. I have a corded yellow one ready to go for those times that I need to cut something bigger or tougher. The lights are great, the drill and driver are perfect for usual handy man stuff, especially with the bigger batteries that are available.

It sure is. It's my first stop when I need tools. Growing up in BC it was a part of life. I was super excited when they expanded to Alberta and even more so when they opened a store here in GP.

M12 stuff is fine. I might get a set with my tool allowance next year. Lol. It's great for the smaller tools and lighter duty.work.

I like to have more power than I need and I find the 18V stuff is a little more heavy duty. I'm notoriously hard on tools and gear, so getting more oomph and ugga duggas than I need on a daily basis is a must.

I bought a bunch of the cheaper Ryobi homeowner class tools with that One system recently. I have to say, for $140 (including a 4.0a battery) the impact gun is great value. Zero issues for my needs like swapping tires.

I like that KMS gets into metal work.
And we finally got Lordco. That store saved my ass when my trailer bearings, races and axle surfaces got mangled. Did the entire job in a day use park in Chase BC. with 3 trips to Lordco.

Lordco is great too. Wish we had them here. They blow NAPA away.

I would agree Milwaukee has the cordless game on point.

That being said, I bought a 10 piece Makita set about ten year ago when impacts were newer on the scene and I was a working carpenter.

I have dropped my impact from roof peaks and had it landed on the chuck at wonky angles, smash batteries, freezing cold -25 work and generally lived a harsh life by my side. These things still go hard af and I can’t believe it. I’ve boughten new batteries along the way and have mostly 4ah batteries and one 5ah. They charge fast and last longer than most on the job site even in the winter.
Just letting you all know Makita seems to be worthy of a purchase too :)

Had one of the funnest times in the goat ever yesterday!

Was a bit tricky at first to figure out best set points for the driveway. After some practice I was in a groove :)
Ended up plowing the subdivision roads in glee too haha.

PSA: truck plows are worth every penny!! :transformer::yes:

Makita is also awesome, I would consider them equal to milwaukee. Their track saw set ups look sweet.

I just got my first Makita anything, a used 10" compound slider and it is a good quality tool.

Dude, I can’t explain how much fun it is haha. Had the kids in the cab colouring pictures while I was plowing in a heated seat. How does it get any better!?

@Mountun Goat , Makita is solid. They're my go to for corded tools. If they had the same variety of available tools as Milwaukee I would have given them a very hard look.

It was a joke/reference to a Canadian tv show called letter Kenny with a little bit of hockey player / Newfoundland accent and slang mixed in. Followed with compliment to the knowledge level of guys on this site about Tundras. My apologies for the confusion.
