Wiring 3rd brake light. Are MX topper

Hey guys and gals,

trying to wire my third brake light and after searching around a bit there’s not many pictures or video info on how to do it for the tundra. Obviously it needs to go through the tail light but I’m not sure if I can just buy a plug n okay harness or if I have to splice, attached is a picture of the wires that come on the topper so hoping someone can have a decent description of how to do so. All I can find right now is very vague descriptions. Thanks!!

 

I used this wiring harness from fleabay. Worked well and came with decent instructions, pretty straight forward.

More details on the platform/drawers you've got in there?

it’s just a simple platform with two drawers that slide out. No slide tracks or anything, just wood on wood. The middle section pieces can be removed for larger items and then there’s also a hinged compartment toward the front on the drivers side for storage of stuff I don’t use much. Then just added carpet and pull handles for the drawers. I use a trifolding foam mattress for sleeping.
