I just ordered the BFG KO2 in 34x10.5R17. Since this is my daily, I think skinny makes more sense than a wide tire.

Nice! Would love to see pics when mounted and hear some feedback once you start putting miles on them. I really like that size option in the BFG's but cost was a bit much for me on those and curiosity got me on the Kenda's too.

I'll absolutely post pics. The cost almost kept me from pulling the trigger, but ultimately they were what I really wanted. If I didn't buy them now, I'd probably have bought them next time.

@pedrosrfs sorry if it missed it, are you running wheel spacers?

EDIT: NVM im an idiot, 1.25 spacers

Any rubbing issues on the cab mount with those 10.5 wides? i bet the narrow gives plenty of clearance even with the added offset of the wheel spacers

No rubbing on the cab mounts, only had to remove the mud flaps. Other than that clearance is fine. I haven't tried them without the spacers but I wouldn't want them tucked in the fenders any more than they are. As it sits they are about flush in line with the edge of the tread. Considering going up a size a bit on the spacers....and this is if I get to it, at the moment it isnt enough to bug me.

    Looks great man!

have been back and forth on these but a few points have me on the edge. my buddy just ordered a set for his Ram (finally talked him into testing them out for me ;))

    what tire pressures you running?

@14burrito much appreciated:cheers:. Ya I kept going back and forth too but figured I'd give them a shot for the price, there wasn't any major red flags from my research that made me bail. What points have you on the fence?
Funny...I haven't checked the PSI since I got them installed last week. Been meaning to do that actually, thanks for the reminder. I'll get back to ya on that one.

@pedrosrfs siping and the hybrid design. I have not had very good wet traction (boat ramp) out of a hybrid tire.

@14burrito I hear ya there. This is my first hybrid tire, always ran A/T's so I'll be testing the waters with these guys. Snow is my main concern, I live in the high desert so not much for driving in many "wet" conditions (or on boat launches). Also the tread wear. From what I can see there is more siping than i thought but also the tread voids are more than my previous BFG's...so will be interesting to see how that goes. I can say so far that even with the larger voids they are not loud though which was a concern. As I put some miles on them and with the change in seasons coming up I will definitely give updates on my experience with different conditions. Would be interesting to hear your buddy's point of view from his truck too. Rolling the dice on the Kenda's so time will tell.

I know the KO2 is used and squished at the floor, but that seems way more than just 1" difference in diameter.

mmmm... Looks like you had some load on your bed. LOL

Those KO2s looked way smaller while on the truck, or should I say, with the truck on them?

Thanks for posting the comparison! I'd be curious to see the used BFG's unloaded next to the new Klever's when they're mounted up. Similar to the first comparison shot, just reversed.

Just got my 34x10.5R17 KO2's mounted today. Not at all too skinny in my opinion.
