tundra.jpg About a year ago I plasti-dipped my badges. They looked great but I am starting to notice that they are peeling. So I would prefer to just remove the SR5 badges, Tundra badges, and the 5.7 badges all together. My only concern is since the paint is roughly 10 years old, will there be bad ghosting left behind? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I can’t speak to the age factor but even on my 2020, I used a really fine grit detail polish for removing swirl marks in paint and it came out fine. For the age, you may want a buffer since the elbow grease required to get it fresh may be insane.

    You could put overlays on.

I would be hesitant to remove them. Have heard of paint looking different on older vehicles after removed, even swelled or puffy looking paint. Worst case you could reinstall them, maybe some black ones.
