    Hey guys,
Now that I have the DD 10" exhaust installed, my next upgrade takes place in the morning, adding heat to the leather Katzkins. Which now brings me to my next big ticket item, Audio. I'm not looking to win any contests, but my non JBL system not only has not guts, but the sound has no soul. Read a few threads here and there. My questions is what is the deal with ****** blanking out the name of Taco Tunes? As someone who appreciates a rocking system, and who likes to do his own work where I can, the whole plug and play option has a VERY strong appeal. Can someone help me out here?

I will check them out. I prefer to keep the stock head unit if possible.

Look at his Tundra audio packages..
I know he has at least 1 of the JBL that keeps the stock HU.
It includes a DSP that he presets to work with your stock HU.

If you don't find exactly what you want, contact him and he will fix you up.

If I was starting from scratch, I would purchase one of his systems..

The whole plug and play thing is really overrated. I went the ********* route and was pretty disappointed. I have Polk Audio speakers front and rear with a Rockford Fosgate sub and a Pioneer DX975 amp. Much better quality sound and better thump from the sub. Like you I'm not trying to win any sound competition but do wanna be able to hear the music when rolling down the interstate with the windows down. I'm sure someone on here has the wiring diagrams for the speakers. Get the mating Molex connector and make your own plug and play.

Your problem was going with ********** tune.
James at https://www.tundras.com/forums/tech12volts.113/ will not rip you off and makes a very good plug and play system, working off factory head unit, that is clear, loud and easy to install.

Easily 130dbs and can be heard down the road.

I installed a Kenwood headunit w/ Carplay and a Kicker 8" hideaway sub. My truck is non-JBL and I'm happy with how it sounds now, after I was able to mess with the equalizer and crossover settings a bit.
