What’s your set up for dogs in your Tundra?

Just trying to get some ideas. I was going to get a Gunner kennel but doesn’t seem worth it to me.

I have one of those crash tested harnesses with a tether that hooks onto the baby seat latch in the back seat. I thought about just putting an old comforter back there, but was wondering if anyone had any success with those backseat hammock things that hook onto the front and back seat headrests so the dog can lay down back there without having access to the floor.

I would prefer something like this, just not sure if it would be big enough. I’ve got a 2021 Crewmax so lots of room back there.

any suggestions?

 

She has free range in the back. When we are driving to the dog park, she likes to put two feet on the console while her back end is on seats (pic below is where she sits when parked).

With it being a Crewmax, for longer trips, she lays and sleeps on the floor at the kids feet on a dog bed or blanket.

Dog bed on the floor gets my vote or a blanket on the rear seats. Keep it simple.

She loves the truck!

 

I got some leather seat covers from Clazzio and they are very durable. I just let my dog freely roam the interior. when I have myultiple passenger I keep her on on of those harnesses that attach to the seat head rest bars.
