Welcome from the wet side of WA - doesn't look like you've introduced yourself yet. This group can get a bit rowdy, but it is all in fun (at least I think so...I'm pretty new myself).

I'm personally a bit leery of the "Tesla" or "Ram" head units just because there isn't much longevity reported on them yet or any real consistency in the brands that offer them - seems most of them are junk knock-offs. But then I'm also personally just fine with the JBL HU with CarPlay that I've got, so that means I don't really know s**t.

If you like to tinker with stuff than go get one. They are all basically the same. I had the Phoenix one for less than a week, then switched back to stock. It looked really cool, and i wanted to like it, but it just wasn't user friendly. You pretty much have to Google everything to figure out how to change anything. Or join the Facebook group and ask questions there. A user manual or even an online manual would be great, but not available. Some people on here love them and have been able to figure them out, but it is very very far from install and enjoy

Good summary. I don't have the focus for that kind of stuff like I used to, so I'll probably scratch it off my 'to-do' list.

I've been running the phoenix system (version 2.0) since it was released with no complaints at all. I have it dialed in exactly like I wanted it and it has performed very well since.
