Spline lugs are what I’m looking at. About $45 for set of 20 with the tool. I sprayed lugs a long time ago and they pretty much go to crap once you put them back on.

So far I have been through 2 sets of lugs. I wont be spending anymore money. I thing next time I'll try some rust inhibitor and rustoleum.
    Edit: spending money on lugs.

I just used ColorLugs myself to cover the existing lugs. Cheap and can just keep existing lugs.

On my previous SCS wheels I went through two sets of black lug nuts and nothing lasts beyond one tire rotation before they start surface rusting. Gorilla nuts and the spline nuts from Vin@SCS, didn't matter, rust ensued. I don't even use the impact, only hand tools on the lugs. Only thing that doesn't seem to rust no matter the abuse are the stock chromies.

My only solution to the black was to clean them well and repaint rattle can them as needed.

How long do they last before UV and road grime starts to break them down? Maybe a better question, how long have you used them? Not troubleshooting you, just curious because I'm really interested.

I've had them on for about 7 months now. Have had then off several times for tire rotations, mod installs, etc and they still look new. Highly recommended

I believe @Watt maker is running the color lugs as well?

    Flux capacitor!
You can also get any lug nuts you want powder coated matte black. Two things to consider. If they powder coat them very thick they may be a tight fit onto the socket. If they are removed with an impact wrench they tend to chip the paint or powder coat on the edges and lead to rust.

Problem is I'm in Chicago and we have horrible salt in winter (shootings everyday) and wheels get rotated every 5k with an impact.

I believe the lugs for the steel wheels are a different length. You may want to measure them. Also you can trim them to size with scissors, so if in doubt, go longer.

I don't know about the lugs for the steel wheels, but the lugs for my TRD Pro wheels used the LugCap 21-23 mm.

I got the colorlugz for my stock lugs also. Customer service was great. I didn’t realize the oem wheel locks were a bit larger that the oem lugs. I emailed them to order new ones to fit and they sent them to me free. It’s customer service like that that will keep me buying from them!

Gorilla lugs are high quality and can be purchased in black. I have a set and they are better made than oem.

think I'm gonna give gorilla a try, just got some methods and they came with chrome lugs  customer service rep at method told me they shouldn't have come with any lugs and i should be grateful i got a freebie from the tire rack. i've bought other custom wheels in the past for other vehicles BBS, Sparco and they came with matching lugs, guess method has gone the way of apple and is charging you extra for something that should be included when you spend a $1K, its a nickel and dime world out there.....ok enough ranting for the day

Most aftermarket wheels don't come with lugs. Except maybe ProComp? But PC also sells lugs. Which is what I'm using on my Methods.

I just ordered a black OEM set from my local dealer. I have noticed there are several online vendors that are mentioned on the forums. I find the listed price looks great, but then you add in a healthy shipping charge it works out to be about the same...just saying.
