    Thanks!

Yes I had the suspension all done by the time I put the wheels and tires on. I dont think you'd be able to fit this setup on a stock suspension, it'll be too close.

Mini write up on the rear AMPS panel:

    ICS’ instructions:
Using a panel popper, remove the rear center console trim by pulling back on the bottom right corner. Once you unclip the right and left sides and work your way up, slightly left up on the rear cover as the top top clips snap in at an angle.

Then just lay the cover down on the floor as you don’t need to remove the cig lighter connector

Assemble the mount, the two side tabs go inside the top piece, not on the outside.

Now, the side pieces are cut to fit the angle on the rear or the center console.

Place the mount about an inch high from the top of the center console making sure the lid opens properly, mark your holes

Drill the four holes and bolt it in

Snap the rear center console cover back in place
    ———————————-
Step one, pop the panel off using a plastic panel removal tool.
    53BC7B92-F4E8-421A-9B37-F8F4012861FF.jpg
Step two, assemble the AMPS panel and figure out where you want it to sit. Use some masking tape to hold it in place and mock up the final position. I ended up going with 1-3/4” up from the flat piece of plastic where the front panel sits flush with:
    09E8C841-8C8B-4B6A-A983-9FAA6F49748C.jpg
Turns out that was a little tight, but it worked out just fine.

Step three, mark your holes and drill:
    12C36D87-9510-49AD-89E1-85563442A831.jpg 3CF43FEA-C381-45F9-BDFB-E900BB1E678E.jpg

Step four, bolt that sucker in:

You’ll see that I sliced a little off the bottom washer. This is because I mounted everything a touch lower than I should have. Nothing some tin snips couldn’t take care of :sawzall:

Step five, reassemble the rear face of the console, attach your RAM mounts and enjoy!

Nice! I'm doing this next! Love your build. It's causing me to spend way too much money...

About 10 minutes ago I just ordered the Cali Raised side Molle panels. :spending:

How do you like those trail series sliders as far as using them for a step and door ding protection? I’m debating on the trail version vs step currently. Mainly need the step for the wife and kids and it would be nice if the trail version does a good enough job of it along with door ding protection.

They’re great! My 6 year old has no issue using them as a step, and come to think of it I haven’t had any door dings since they got installed. I was t-boned a couple months ago and the sliders saved me from needing rocker panels. If you want even more of a stepping surface they have the ‘step’ version which sticks out another couple inches.

These things are beefy too. When I got hit, I needed $3k in repairs and they didn’t even have to touch the sliders. Plus I had the full weight of the truck on them going over some rocks in Colorado back in August.

For the money, I don’t know why anyone buys steps instead of these

Thanks for the reply. I think that seals the deal for me. Hopefully they run a sale soon so I can grab a set for local pick up.
