changed our the Interior lights to LED last night, now the Remote FOB not working.

Replaced the battery and no luck.

Is there a particular fuse I need to check?

When installing the LEDs, I did not replace those dome lights metal plates.

    Any suggestions?

Check the fuse block under the hood. I forget if that fuse is in there or under the one by the driver side kick panel

Ok. I did last night but must have looked at the wrong fuse.

Any more for details...i.e. fuse 20a etc?

Put the old bulbs back in and see if the fob works again.

    Gggrrrrrrrrr. Do I have to?

What’s the purpose of that metal plate in the domes?

Lol, of course not, but it was the last electrical change that you made before the fob stopped working, right? It's a very logical troubleshooting step. I'm not sure what metal plate you're meaning, I've never had my domes apart, my truck is a Standard Cab and my domes may be different from yours. I could speculate that it's a reflector to direct light.

Reinstalling the old bulbs is like connecting butterfly antanae on a 60inch TV. Lol

I do believe those plates are for reflective , but I read somewhere that the fob circuitry is in the dome

Sausage fingers? The metal piece may serve as an antenna, put the fob right up to the dome area and see if that gets a response I guess. Okay, I've got a few, I'll go out and see what my dome looks like. I'd be surprised if the manual shows a fuse for the fob though, oftentimes multiple circuits are fused by the same fuse and the fuse is just given one name to reference. I won't be able to test my fob though, aftermarket remote start and the receiver antenna is in the A-pillar on my truck.

Can you peep in your manual to tell the fuse and location?

Took my overhead console out. Metal pieces are light reflectors. I didn't see anything suggesting that the factory fob antenna is there, doesn't mean that it isn't tucked up in the headliner someplace though. Perusing my manual, fuses that may have anything to do with stuff in the overhead console are #s 23 and 24 under the hood, and #s 24 and 25 under the dash. All are 7.5amp.

I think he's referring to where I hid the antenna for my aftermarket remote start.

    Jurassic bulbs...lol.
I prefer the dimmer bulbs in my truck so that I'm not blinded when they come on, besides, I'm not reading the paper in there.

    So the plot thickens

Now the VSC light is flashing, and the traction light stays lit.

Sounds like an ABS wheel sensor to me. They break easily.

Not from changing bulbs!!! Truck driving perfect until I changed the bulbs.

So changing bulbs lead to remote not working and VSC light flashing.

A fuse is the culprit but where????
