    Function before sparkle.
Best depends on what you want to use it for. Share a bit more about how you plan to use the compressor...

For primarily air up and air down on tires only. No air lockers at this time.

Then any of the three will work fine. Or you can grab a cheap-ass portable off of Amazon for <$50. I wore one of the cheapies out (the on/off switch doesn’t wok so as soon as it is attached, it’s “on”, i.e. still works) then installed an ARB twin. Because I want to install locker(s) at some point. Really, it’s just for speed and convenience right now.

Just a side note, I saw on here that someone made an adapter for the 7-pin trailer plug and powered their compressor from there instead of running it straight off the battery. If i can find the thread, I'll add it to this post.

Couldnt find the thread, but this looks to be a great solution as long as the compressor has a cigarette lighter adapter..

Here is the pinout if you want to convert the alligator clips to a 7 pin plug:

Viair is quality, but not cheap. I got this one and could not be happier!
