I bought this kit off Amazon and a roll of 3m double sided tape and taped it on top of the double sided tape that was already on the leds. The one they had was junk. Stuck the leds to bottom side of rails and ran my hot wire from battery.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought. Grabbed a electric paint gun from harbor freight. Heated the fluid film with a heat gun and filled the tank then sprayed. No lift I jacked the ass end up and to to everything. I wish I started 6 years ago when I got the truck. Thank you I think they are spyder smoked tail lights. They were like 170ish and I threw GTR leds in there.

Got my new to me 2019 headlight DRL's lit up. Used ihackers harness to get them working on my 2016. Bye amber, hello LED! 2020-11-08 11.57.16.jpg

Also added Vled footwell lighting. I personally believe they use the knock off 3m tape, as they would not stay stuck. 2020-11-08 12.06.45.jpg

Scored a great deal on a year old Leer camper cover for $800. Couldn't bring myself to spend $2400+ on a new one plus having to wait months to receive due to backlog of orders. Dog was excited to ride too. Now I need to spray it with Raptor bedliner spray...black or tinted white?? Tough choice.

i wouldn't spray my dog with raptor liner, it weighs them down way too much. but i would definitely spray the leer tinted white if they could get it pretty close, if not, then black. i'd be afraid of it popping out regardless of color since it wouldn't transition so smoothly. but i'm kinda weird about that kinda stuff

I was just jackin with ya. I've seen people use it with good results. But I would think it being textured VS the paint's smooth/glossy surface, it would stand out a bit. Especially if you're tinting white "trying" to match it. I feel it would still stand out. Just my opinion

After much fretting and second guessing, the wheels/tires fit well. Just needed to remove flaps and push in the liner = no rubbing, even at full lock in reverse. Rides like a dream! I'm eagerly awaiting the sliders from White Knuckle Off Road (ordered, but still a few weeks out...) - it's a bit of a jump up at the moment...

Debadging on the bed sides and passenger door is next...

I'm kind of betting Jim agrees with me. At least my take on LEO's support of him. Gotta be careful where I wear it, don't need an altercation, especially when carrying.

Just installed my roll-up tonneau and bed mat. I've always had a hard tri-fold tonneau on my Tacoma, so this will be interesting. I'll probably hate it and go back to a tri-fold ;)
