Hey just upgraded the stock tires on my 2014. Went from 275/55/R20 to 275/60/R20 Pretty much going from 32 to 33" tires. The tires are great and fit with no issues, no rubbing. I got a deal on the Toyo Open Countires from a buddy, but unfortunately they are P-Rated, but have been great for the mix of driving I do so far.

I think it is a huge improvement for a stock truck, I don't know why they don't just come this size as I had to adjust nothing and the stock tires looked way too small in the wheel wells.

Old thread but what I was looking for. Been thinking of 60 for my next set of tires. Anyone else run this size without any lift or leveling kit? How is the ride compared to 55s?

I'm in this exact same boat...got to new house and put her in garage for first time. Not much clearance so lift might not happen. level and go to 275/60/20 in an aggressive looking tire and call her good.

Basically means it's rated for passenger vehicles (SUV's and the like). It's not as heavy duty and robust as an LT tire and isn't made to handle the max weight rating continuously. They also have a lower inflation rating. Dealers put P-metric tires on pickups because they're cheaper and the ride is a bit softer than LT tires.

Yes. That's what I've got on mine. Might could even squeeze a 285/65 but I'm not positive. But 275/60 works fine.

I'm running 275/60 R20 on stock 2014 Tundra SR with platinum rims. No issues at all. The tires I purchased where lower price compared to the 275/55 R20.

I just bought 275/70 and they just barely rubbed so I would think you would be fine

    Hi woodchuck,
Where do they rubb? What rims do you have? And what tire brand did you go with?

Hey Otadeo, they just barely clipped the front mudflap when turning the wheel. Probably wouldn't cause an issue but rather be safe than sorry. My rims are WORX Beast 18x9 +25 and NITTO 275/70/18. Had I known I was going to put the leveling kit on i would have went with the 295

Basically going from a 32 to 33. Definitely looks better.

This is actually the tacomaworld calculator. I'm sure Sean can hook it up here or at least make a sticky link. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc

1010tires.com also has a calculator that will give you sizes to compare to the stock wheel. They will also give you brands that carry each size and prices to compare to and a speedometer difference to look out for when you change to a different size.

Hey Everyone - new guy here -- just got a very plain Magnetic 2017 CrewMax -- wheels must be added quickly!

I am looking at 20x9.5 +30mm offset - tires 275/60s -- all I read I think they will fit fine (stock truck) can someone reassure me?

    Thanks!

VLED brake/tail light bulbs. VLED third brake light and cargo lights.
These wheels are 1” wider and have over 1” less offset, so they protrude 2” more than stock and swing a wide arc when turning. That’s likely why they rub with this size of tire. With stock rims shoulf be fine.

Appreciate the info. Definitely going with the 275/60R/20s. Probably Toyo open country but not sure yet.
