I installed these headlights about 3 or four months ago. I like them, and have no complaints, but today I tried to turn on my fog lights, (stock), and nothing. I haven t tried the fog lights since I installed the xb headlights so I can t say when they stopped working, but my first thought is the xb headlights is causing it. Do these headlights by chance disable the fog lights? I would nt think so, but I have to ask.

The XB headlights should not interfere with your OEM fog lights whatsoever! Something different is going on in this case. Have you checked fuses by chance?

Are your high beams on? Stupid question but plausible.

For some reason I wasn t notified about comments to this thread. Anyway, first I have to admit I never knew fog lights didn t work when high beams are on. I hardly use the fog lights. But I do run the lights on high beam. I guess that s why the fogs do not work.
As high as my truck sits I have the lights aimed very low, and like the output of high beams versus the low beams, so I kept them aimed low, and drive in high beam all the time. (and I do not get flashed if that s what you are thinking). The cut off isn t as defined as the stock lights, but with most cars at a stop the light reaches just below their rear winshield, and do not hit most side view mirrors.

I work swing shift, so I m driving home at midnight every day. I pass cops basically every night, and none of them act as if anything is wrong. That s good enough for me.
