Great build. How much do you guess you have into it? Any leaks? Bummer that you had to remove the slide out prep table when you added the second axle. Is there a noticeable difference in pulling? Now that you have relocated I think you are going to be adding a heater.

And, your meals look amazing. My brother in law just got a souve. I never knew they existed before having us over for dinner a couple weeks ago. It's on my list now.

Right now, I think I'm in the 13's, but that's because I kept on adding small miscellaneous stuff into it. I did had a leak where I drilled through the walls for the roof rack, but it was an easy fix. The removable prep-table is still as functional, I just lost the storage that comes with the slide-out. As for towing, it is noticeably better. It's not as jittery as it was when it was single. But it did add a lot of tongue weight, but no biggy since I mounted the spare wheels, propane and gas tank at the back. I have a portable heater that is safe to use indoors. It's been tested and had great review from various small camper users.

Sous Vide is great, and I can even use it to heat water for dishes if I'm plugged in to shore power. No need to brake-out the propane tankless shower. Also add Sears-All, Vacuum sealer, to your list along with the Sous Vide.

The 2.0 will be sometime next year with lighter composite materials and build for 4 seasons. I did not expect to move to Canada, and if I am going to go camping in the north, it will be during spring and summer. I'll add a cassette toilet and indoor shower with it.

Thanks for the cost info. I have been looking at smaller travel trailers. I like to go on weekend bike and ski trips and have grown out of the tent camping experience for all the normal reasons a 52 year old would have. My kids are grown and my wife isn't a big fan of camping so many times I'm solo. I've looked at the tear drop style, NOBO, featherlites, scamp, and casitas. I really like the floor plan and features of the casita but the money! Still trying to decide if I just want a warm dry place to sleep or the need for shower and toilet. If I ever think my wife will come around to camping I already know the answer to that question.

I'm turning 50 and my wife is 55, If this was just for me, I do not need an indoor shower and will be okay with port-a-potti. My kids do not like the work involve in camping, my wife's idea camping have to be with room service or floating in the ocean with one arm bandits. LOL!

Get a NOBO or DIY or even just get a used cargo trailer and just customize it based on your needs. My production model will be just a base model and will let the customer have to freedom to do all their upgrades. You can spend as little or as much as you want. You'll be happier in the end since you did it and did not buy the options that does not fit your lifestyle.
