Why didn’t you tell her you had to remove the muffler because the remote reservoir for the long travel cage extends past the 3” leaf springs and interferes with the travel of the bump stop cantilever switchpro?

 

haha, almost the way it went. She asked if I had a muffler and I said mmm, no. She asked if it broke and I said yes 'cause it really did. I never mentioned that I have the DD budget dump and that I like it. But, if she sees the bill for the forged beadlocks, I can say the muffler was really expensive.

FN BFDs finally arrived. The graphite color is a couple shades darker than I expected, almost black but I like it. Anyone interested in stock 20" wheels and stock tires with 9k miles? Two of them have some uneven wear since I waited too long to get an alignment after lift. I thought I'd have the new wheels and tires way earlier.

 

Anyone in need of an rci skid never used for the small tank selling one soon pm me.

Seeing some awesome setups today. I wasn't able to take a pic of two others, but I got this one and talked to the guy about his ride. I'm getting some awesome ideas. These are some cool wheels.

whats is your suspension/wheel/tire set up?

 

Elka 2.5 IFP shocks front and rear, added toytec shackles at 1" setting. It sits about 2" higher over stock in front and about 1" in rear.
FN wheels 18" BFDs +18 offset. Cooper discoverer at3 xlt in 275/70 r18. There is a little rubbing. Mark @dcsleeper408 did all the work. He did a great job. I'm really happy with how it rides and drives. I haven't taken it offroad yet, but it's great towing and driving around town.

 

Funny I was browsing at the elka shocks this evening. Im running a shell like yours. I think the stance looks great.

 

So this is where all the good local stuff is happening. Tagging along for the ride.

Nah she knows I’m on the forum and I’ve sold or given away lots of parts away to local people and the orange paint gets almost too much attention. She does get lots of dirty looks and lots of other trucks always try to race her when she’s driving.

 

She knows about you and what color your truck is so she wouldn’t be weirded out if you waved. She would more than likely wave back.

 

Saw 2 other Tundras in for service at Putnam in Burlingame when I dropped off mine today.
