They sell the exact same device, but at different prices.

Make sure your area has cellular coverage for the device's network. I have the tech12volts kit (Fortin Evo 1 I believe) and it uses the T-Mobile network. T-mobile has coverage locally, but they advertise it as "fair," and it seems to have completely died off in the direct area of my house. So I can't start with my phone from home like I could for the first 6 months or so. I can use the factory fob at home though. The celluat works everywhere else I've tried.

This is the one downside to having the push start. The engine will shut down.

I have the 12 volt solution on my 2019 Tundra H key and works every single time! Like others have said all you must do is put your key in and turn and my truck will never shut off. Also mine came 100% plug n play no having to splice the tpms cable. Honestly one of the best mods I've done to my truck but sadly I'm trading my 19 in for a 21 and it will no longer be compatible since I opted for the push start. So if anyone is interested im going to be selling my remote start kit with the app module if anybody is interested hit me up. App module has about 9 months left before you need to renew it.

The 'shop' site is the one on our Tundra club site for the group buy. It came from James and he even helped me with a couple of questions. Highly recommended product for my truck. Of course, my truck is the ghetto version with the 'key' and not the push button.

Looks like I purchased the one from 12volts solutions and not the "shop" one. Hope it works the same way if not i'll be returning it and ordering from the "shop" one.

They were 30% off last Black Friday. I hope they are similar this year.

do the climate control functions work whenever you guys use the remote start (12v Solutions)? For example if i leave the heat on the night before, the heat will kick on when i remote start it the next morning, correct?

I'm gonna answer your question with a question. In that scenario, does the heat come on when you start the truck? I see it being no different than if you were to start the truck with the key or the button.

The answer is yes, whatever setting you leave on the truck resumes when you start it
