Just ordered a set of BumperShellz. Will hold off on getting the OEM grille surround and hood bulge to see how the GrilleShellz turn out. Would rather have the a TPO grille surround instead of the paint match anyways.

Thanks for the votes guys! We're on the fence about TPO as a grille color so this is really helpful.

Personally I’d prefer a color match than a TPO or matte black.

I did a DIY bedliner on a used surround and bulge (before this was announced). If or when that konks out, TPO Overlay is what I would opt for.

We're going to be doing color match as well as all of our other stock colors. I'm mainly wondering if a vast majority of people would rather buy TPO over Matte Black or vice-versa. Basically It's just to see if TPO is going to have the same popularity for the grille as it does for the bumpers, or since it is up on the grille, people are going to opt just for matte black instead.

We at least know material cost for our stock colors at this point, so right now I would predict we should be just over $200 for both pieces. That'll fluctuate with color, and that is not a quote for paint matching. I'll know that price after we actually paint a set and find out what time and materials look like. As with everything, don't hold me to this just yet. I'm just going off of what I know right now and trying to put some info out there so I don't have a bunch of you guys waiting around for this just to find out we're going to charge $500 for the set.

I'm going to guesstimate that TPO is going to be a lot less popular for the surround/bulge. People want to cover up their chrome with a color match.

I received my set of super white covers the other day. I got around to test fitting them last night and ran into an issue. I am wondering how well all of yours are fitting around the foglight area. My set seems to have some extra material around the fog light hole. This creates a noticeable "lip" behind the shell. From all of the photos I have seen on here, they are supposed to fit tightly around the outside of the foglight bezel not hang in front of it and create a 3/8" lip. Can anyone post photos of yours right around the foglight area?

Not the best photos but maybe you can see what I’m talking about. It seems like with how mine are gapped around the fog light that any water would also get between the cover and bumper. The covers seemed to fit well everywhere else though.

I received mine Friday, never have time to do fitment.
    I’ll try maybe tomorrow.

That’s a lot burr around the fog light hole. I work in plastic manufacturing and they never clean during post process. That’s not good. Means you have do trimming that area and possible you might gouges if you’re not careful.

It does overhang over the fog light trim. If you make the hole larger, there will be a chance of the chrome to peck through. I would not worry about it too much, unless you want to go with OEM end caps instead of Shellz.

It can take scuffs lot better in my opinion. No paint chips. The reason I got the oem flares as well. Its a smaller opening than the oem trim, but it looks great after all said and done.

The "fuzz" is from a protective covering that is over the actual shell. It is meant to be removed after final install. It is still on the shell in those photos. I am talking more about the extra plastic material that doesn't look like it "turns back into" the foglight bezel. All of the photos I have seen, it looks like the cut out for the foglight (the rough edge) is turned toward the foglight bezel, not showing in front of it.

It does not have a return flange to the bezel. It's just cut . Zoom in to the photo i shared. That's how it will look after installed.

Hey @AGuyFromNC ! Just responded to you with probably an overinvolved explanation lol. For everyone else who had a question on this, the extra material is essentially to account for variability. If you other guys have a burning desire to hear the un-truncated version I gave to @AGuyFromNC shoot me a message (@JORAK907 , @Jerry Te37 ) Thanks @SprinterAE86 for providing pictures and answering questions while I was away not paying attention haha

Just installed my fronts, doing rears tomorrow. Went on pretty easy and looks good. The shade of white is a little brighter than the rest of the truck though.

Yes, it's not prefect. Nor the oem paint. A stared on my truck enough to noticethe different shades of whte some of the panels. But to others, they won't be obvious.
